Easy to install and get running. Will actually cover all areas of a 2400+ square foot house. Doesn't lag even when using it to watch movies wirelessly.

My cable modem went out, so did the router. I matched this with a Arris 10 g modem and ran the Comcast speed test and they were above the max up and download speeds listed on the test page. So they are capable of moving a lot of data. Setup took me two or three times to get the things synced up, the modem required a call but Linksys has a nice page that I was able to open on my laptop and navigate easily.

Very easy to set up I upgrade my fios to a giga and it takes all of it. Good router. The open VPN works but is not a full server.

Finally all the smart tvs, wireless printer, 1 Playstation, 1 Xbox, 3 laptops, 2 desktops, and 3 cell phones can all get online throughout the house AT THE SAME TIME and there is absolutely no problems. I can't believe it! The speeds throughout this two story home are amazing. I'm paying for 200mbs and I'm actually seeing what I'm paying for thanks to having two wonderful devices.... a good modem and a solid router. Now with that said let me warn you about a novice mistake I made setting this puppy up. Word of advice, you are better off purchasing your own modem and connecting it to this router because if its cheaper than renting a modem because if you look at your bill you would have paid for a brand new modem by the end of the year - so go buy a modem too that compliments this router (I purchased an ARRIS SURFboard SB6190 modem too). But regardless of whether you also buy a modem or not, if the router and modem do not communicate you will have to UNPLUG EVERYTHING (network cables, power cables), get a paper clip, plug in the power to your modem and do a RESET by pressing for 30 seconds on the modem first and wait for all the lights to turn back on. Then plug in the power to your Linksys use the same paper clip on the Linksys router holding RESET for 30 seconds and then shutting it down and turning it back on. Once the router is fully back on showing a solid power and Internet signal connect the router to your modem. Then once after you do that connect your PC to 1st slot on the router and set up your username and password for your router. If you do this in the beginning you will never have a problem. If you don't then you might have a problem. Here is why this could be a problem, your modem whether owed by your or rented from a cable company is accustomed to the previous router so when you replace it with a new one the router may not recognize it. This can go either way meaning if you replace the modem and you are still using the same router you would still need to do these steps. It is a good thing to do regardless when setting up either a router or modem or both. Trust me. You will save yourself headaches and calling support for your modem or router. And this tip goes for not only this router or modem, but any router or modem replacement. I love this router. It is well worth the money!

This router wasn’t my first choice. It should have been, and it would have saved me lots of time. I originally purchased a NetGear router. That was certainly a mistake. This Linksys worked basically right out of the box. The speed is beyond expectations. Have not had any issues with wireless devices loosing connection. It works great for all the needs of the household. Streaming movies and gaming never have an issue with lagging or buffering.

We had major problems when Verizon (Internet Provider for our area) sold their services to Frontier Communications. For over 20 years never had a problem with Verizon, but Frontier we have received nothing but trouble with the internet connection. Bought this router and everything changed, only wish sometimes I need to switch from the 2.5 ghz to the 5 ghz network and sometimes not able to do so. But I am still learning how to operate this, anyone who purchases this router will notice instantly the power it gives you, to be able to hook right up is great!

Setup was easy and quick, used it to add 5ghz band for newer devices. Better range and thru put for all of our wireless devices

This linksys wrt ac3200 is super nice. Fast wifi and easy to set up.
