Excellent Open source router

About every 24 hours I have to shut the router off and turn it back on because it constantly drops the WIFI password. In addition, I connect my external haddrive to the USB port but the only way to access the drive is if first you log into the router otherwise DNS will not recognize the router name. Before anyone asks, yes the DNS is setup correct. For the price of the router, I am disappointed, hopping a future firmware update will fox the issues.

I get signal in my back yard and across the street at my neighbor's house! I upgraded from a previous Linksys dual band AC router and the difference is significant!

I had problems when I tried to install 3rd party VPN firmware due to that supplier’s poor documentation and support. Linksys 24/7 support patiently guided me out of the mess I’d got myself onto by trying to install 3rd party firmware. Then they called back to make sure I was okay.

Was an easy swap out and this router is SO much faster than the 1900ACS. Test speeds are very impressive compared to the 1900ACS. The app for the phone still needs some updating and let you do things like delete old devices you no longer have. The router though is a wonderful addition to anyones wifi needs.

Great router, lots of features and the price is just right. Love it so far. I bought this router because my Apple Timecapsule constantly experienced an on-off power issue.

Greater Router!

It was time to pick up enhanced security that the G model couldn't provide. Very happy. Easy set-up, plenty of capacity for my house full of wireless devices. Nice user Interface App to display my home network. Guest-access capability for temporary visitors. I recommend this one.

It's probably the best one you can buy before getting into the steeper $300 and $500 routers. Setup was easy and have had no issues with wifi signal quality
