Easy to use- like how you can control features on the internet. Would have rated five stars if I did not have to buy a wifi extender for my tv on the other side of the house

I found this router super user friendly. Plug and play and on your way. The strength of Wi-Fi is good and price is great for what you are getting. So far so good.

I installed this upgrade for full house coverage. The 2.4 does great. The 5.0, while faster, is a weaker signal and doesn't penetrate the house as well.

I hooked up my new Linksys AC3200 MU-MIMO WiFi router about a week ago. It's a great overall router with excellent range, very strong WiFi signal, and very easy setup. The signal is much stronger than my previous router (Linksys EA6350), so that I may be able to discontinue the use of the range extender. There are lots of additional settings including parental controls, media prioritization guest access (currently disabled by me), even a calendar to enable/disable access to the network at certain time. I consider this to be a high performance router that can be used in homes where you have lots of devices and even in businesses. In the packaging I found: Quick start guide The router 4 antennae Power adapter CD with a manual (I think). Didn't use this. Setup using the wizard was fast and easy. It auto-detected my connection type and prompted me for the userid/password to sign on to my ISP, and walked me through the rest of the setup. I completed this in about 10 minutes, renaming the SSID to the same I had on my old router. When I was done, I didn't even have to get my devices to reconnect (which is why I used the same basic network configuration). On this router, I configured the 5Ghz band as a separate SSID <name>_5Ghz. It's has a somewhat weaker signal, but is a faster connection for the devices I have that can use it. Overall we normally have 15+ devices connected at any one time and have noticed no slowdowns in network performance when multiple devices are in use. Our internet service is only a max of 24 Gbps download, but with this router, we get that speed or slightly better on most devices (not on my work laptop which has only the 2.4 Ghz band) Pros: - Easy setup - Strong WiFi signals - Reliable (no dropped connections so far) - Status lights are easy to read, but not as bright as my previous router (on which I had to disable them). - Runs at a much cooler temperature than previous router. - Open source firmware compatible - USB 3.0 port and SATA/USB2.0 ports available Cons: - Noticeably larger than previous router. - Open source firmware compatible, but installing it voids the warranty. - When I reconfigured my wireless extender to the new router, I named the SSIDs on it the same as the router. This resulted in unreliable connections. This was an easy fix, just renamed the SSIDs on the range extender to <SSID>_Ext. - When going through initial setup, I first plugged an ethernet cable directly into the router and to my PC. It didn't want to work this way and I had to connect to the default WiFi SSID that was setup at the factory. After that, setup was a breeze.
