Not to mention the updates that drove me nuts. I tried their customer service to get some tech support and the best you could get was to talk to someone via text if you were lucky. That's when I decided to buy the Linksys. It was an easy setup and both the 2G and 5G bands are strong.

The wireless speed may not be as fast but the stability of the signal, and the amount of times I've had to reset the router are incomparable. I love this thing!

Thinking it was system overload, I got the WRT3200 to stay connected. Well according to the Android app, it stays connected but I lose the internet connection also. Might have been a cable issue all along, got a new router though. Handles all wifi cameras, computers and other devices without issue, except internet connectivity, which is unreliable. If it stayed connected, I would have given it 5 stars.

Changing channels is one of the best ways to resolve intermittent signal and to optimize your wireless connection. Also, make sure that you have a stable connection from your ISP.

While performance is ok, the signal strength is worse than my old Apple Airport extreme router, Linksys tech support, while helpful, is typical out of country call center meaning there can be language barriers which can make the conversation and troubleshooting difficult.
