This was a choice after 2 failed Netgear Nighthawks. I'm glad to say that Cisco brought back Linksys with this device. I'm able to cover a 3000sqft house without repeaters now and using both 2.4g and 5g bands. I have over 15 wireless devices of all makes and models. I get great throughput both wirelessly and wired.

Pay for a very fast internet connection. Old router wasn't cutting it over wireless to my gaming computer. With this new router getting over 150MB+ down and 20 MB up. Also when multiple devices were connected to my older router, there would be hickups during streaming videos. That has since gone away. Worth the investment

I recently changed internet suppliers and needed to buy a router. I talked to a Geek Squad member to get advice. They pointed me in the right direction and there are many choices. After looking at the handful recommended and the thousands of questions I asked I picked the AC 3200 duel band. Fits my needs perfectly.

I was skeptical in purchasing this router since I had issues with previous WRT routers. This one is so much better than the others I've used in my environment. The wireless is fast and I get full speeds. I have a 300/30 internet connection with Cox.
Setup was painless and the updated Smart Wi-Fi mobile app awesome!

We have used the LinkSys brand for multiple Wi-Fi spots for years without complaint. Added onto that is the ability to centrally manage each point through a web interface. DEFINITELY recommended. I will only be buying LinkSys Wi-Fi routers for our organization for the foreseeable future.

This router has good wi-fi connection. My bed room is far away from my computer room and the wi-fi connection was really bad in the past. After replace old router with this one, this problem disapper and I am able to keep my fast internet connection from my bed room, even it is physically far away from the router.

Had a E2000 but did not have enough signal range to run television at the far end of the house on the enclosed patio. Roku adapters are required on the Time Warner network. The WRT 3200acm has enough signal to do the job plus my computer internet down load speed increased to a very high value.

I have a large two-story house with an extended back lanai, and my incoming cable internet feed is in a front corner of the house. I needed a router that could cover across the entire house and lanai. This one definitely does that. It also have dual-band so that I can separate my lower priority connections.

I had connectivity issues when using VPN connections to my job from home. I upgraded to this router and that problem has not happened since. also the large number of devices i have have no trouble connecting. Even with the router in the basement the farthest bedroom (two floors up) still has solid connectivity.

Bought this router when I was in a pinch when my old access point died. I bought this and flashed openwrt on it right away with no issues. It's been running my home network for a while now with no issues.

I really did not want to leave a review, I tried a night hawk by net gear but it did not last lest than two years. So I went back to utilizing Linksys and hopefully I will not have any issues with it. So that is all you get for not, whether you like it or not, that is to bad.

I’m not a computer expert, just so you know. I just wanted to say that this was the 2nd Linksys router I’ve tried and I was really hoping it was better than the last one I had because I really wanted to like it; especially after reading so many great reviews. Unfortunately my router that I brought home was DOA and so I had to make another trip to the store to return and exchange it for a working one. The second that I brought home booted up fine. I just wasn’t able to login and access most features except for using the SmartWiFi application and it doesn’t give you the access needed to secure your ports. Because of this I’m going to go with another one. I had hoped that the 2nd time would be the charm but I know there won’t be a third though.

Hi, Tooleman75,
You should be able to access the router's UI after it has been set up. You can try to use the router's default IP address or check the router's current IP address if you have cascaded it to another router.
We can have our Escalation Engineers provide further assistance, just send us an email at [email protected] with your contact details and the link to this review for our quick reference.

My wi-fi improved 100% with the up grade to Linksys WRT 3200 ACM with MU-MIMO Gigabit. The down load and unload speed more than doubled. I couldn't ask for a better router. I must say though I have been a long time owner of the Linksys. I have had other but they don't compare to this system.

I had high hopes for this Router. It was super fast and easy to set up. But after attaching a hard drive to it, it does not map to Windows 10 as a network drive because it uses SMB Version 1 instead of version 2, which is what Windows 10 uses. Looking online at complaints, this has been an issue for over a year and Linksys still hasn't put out a firmware update to resolve this issue. Will return it for another router.
