This is my second one of the same model installed. Installed another for family and the router is solid. I run SIP through it along with other protocols. Remote management access is solid and works fluidly. Would recommend in a heart beat to another seeking something stable.

This is a top of the line stand alone Wi-Fi Router. You can't get a more powerful single point router. If you are looking for multiple ports and powerful Wi-Fi, this is the one to get. If you are wanting a mesh system, then look elsewhere.

The modem was a little more than I needed but really glad I purchased it. My response time improved dramatically and the kids are happy. 5G makes a world of difference. The kids say it’s been great for their games as well.

I have been using this router for a month now and the performance has been awesome. It has greatly improved my Wi-Fi range and I am now getting my full download speed. My previous router was bottle necking my download speed. I recommend this router to anyone looking to upgrade.

Reliable open source alternative - does not exist Router literally factory resets once a year on it's own. No power outages, nobody touched it - nothing QoS is downstream only - what is this, 2007? $260 to replace my RT-N66u that short of 5Ghz speeds, run circles around this thing.

Our old router died and needed to be replaced. After much review, this unit seemed to fit our needs best. Actually it supersedes it and am very happy with it. A few challenges in the beginning during set up but support was very helpful. Great unit for the price I paid.

So far, good consumer upgrade from EA63550 V2. . Live in a four bedroom house, three upstairs, and one in the basement. . Wi-Fi signal reaches all parts of the house now. Thanks.

One of the big features touted by this router is the ability to install other router operating systems. If you are buying this router for that reason, you should reconsider. The driver support has lapsed and there are issues, especially on the 5GHz spectrum that reduce speed with recent versions of OpenWRT. This product touts itself as a great device to install OpenWRT. It may have been so at one point in the past but it is now a poor choice next to some of the competition. That said, the default firmware from Linksys is pretty good and stable. IF you are considering this router then only do so with the purpose of using the default firmware.

Really easy setup and a lot of other features. It's app is super easy to navigate. I replaced my Dlink 825 which I bought almost 7 years ago and of course not comparable since this WRT is new. I am also able to use this old router as an wifi extender. No issues so far.

After adding this router to our network, it seems to want to wrestle IP control from our modem. Previous routers didn't introduce these hiccups. Waiting to get a tech to reassign IP control in the hopes that solves some of our issues. The router is great from all other standpoints.

Wanted to upgrade my router for better steaming as my old router kept my fire tv buffering constantly. The associate at Best Buy talked me into this and I have been more than pleased with it. Its a little pricey but well worth every dollar.

This was not the item I went in to purchase, (because Best Buy didn't have the item I wanted), however this router works well and provides all the connection and data our family needs.

I purchase this model on the recommendation by a sales associate and it has lived up to my expectations. I bought it because I was losing web connections in various areas of my home and streaming was difficult. I purchased this model and problems were solved.

My old Linksys started failed on the wireless connection on a Sunday night. Checked on line at Best Buy and found this one in stock. Super easy install and seen by all my devices. Much faster response than what I was used to.

I'm quite happy with this purchase. I finally was "DONE" with CenturyLink and their cheap-a** equipment. I switched over to XFINITY and decided to purchase new equipment myself. This router was recommended by some of my friends and I'm glad they did!

Functionally sound with great features. I bought this on the recommendation from the best buy associate because I was having an issue getting signal in my basement. This router did not help that problem so I returned it for a different product.

Bought this because of slow buffering from my cable company (frontier/verizon) particularly with Netfix and in rooms a little distance from cable company provided router. Very little to no buffering with this new router. Just a tad over priced for a plastic box.

I'm using this wireless router primarily as a wireless AP for our home network. I am easily able to push 700Mbps through the 5GHz channel anywhere in our 1200sqft house. I can connect to the 2.4GHz 5 houses down the street. No resets needed so far.

I read a few other negative reviews saying that they had to constantly reset the router, because of a dropped signal, but i truly had no idea what I was getting into! The vast majority of the reviews were positive, so I decided to take a chance on this router... What a mistake that was! I ended up having to unplug & reset this router anywhere from 2-8 times a day; but I also lost more than 100mbps to my upload speed as well. I'm definitely going to be returning this!

Bought this router for my aunt and grandma for their house because they wanted to have a fully stable connection while they work on upgrading everything in the house and it hasn't given them a problem since they got it.
