Pretty case, subpar protection, iffy button

On the surface it's a beautiful case with a neat programmable button, but in reality it's kind of disappointing. It lacks the protection of a normal case, leaving the top and bottom sides of the screen exposed. Within two weeks of owning this case, I cracked my screen due to an impact on an unprotected area. The button is not responsive enough. The pressure needed to engage it requires two hands on the device - not the simple reach-around you would expect from a rear button.

Excellent thin & attractive case for Pixel XL
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered this case because I had the previous custom cases for the 6P and this one looked super nice in photos. I'm glad to report that in person, it looks even better. The feel of the case is akin to a matte-style case, but is a bit more slippery than a standard matte case. I don't think it's a dealbreaker, but it definitely is not "grippy". Having said that, I love the feel. The side of the case does not distort the image like the other Live Case Editions cases do. It's a wonderful case and having cutouts for the power button and volume buttons does wonders.

Good looks bad protection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It may be a nice looking case, but fails a at actually protecting the phone. dropped my phone from no more than 3 feet with the case on and the screen cracked in 2 places. Would not recommend this case if you want to protect your phone.
