Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’m very happy with the Logitech Alto Keys K98M. The keyboard feels solid and comfortable to type on, the mechanical keys are responsive, and the backlighting looks great. Wireless connectivity is convenient, and the full-size layout is perfect for everyday work. I was also very happy with the Best Buy salesperson who helped me. She was knowledgeable about the products and clearly understood what she was selling. She explained the options well and helped me choose the right keyboard for my needs. Overall, a very good product and buying experience.

I type of whole ton for a living, and this keyboard for some reason boosted my productivity. Pretty sure it's because of the satifying clicking sound they make. It is a creamy sound, more of the higher pitched side, but still nice. Battery life is a rather shorter than what I've used before, however, it's almost never a problem for me because I have a charger handy, always.

I really love this keyboard and honestly have no negatives besides maybe not enough color options, has a great soft but clicky feel and a great mechanical sound!

I love this keyboard so much, I truly love using it all day for work. However, this is the second one I’ve gotten (used the protection plan on the new one) and both keyboards within 4 weeks have certain keys that appear to be dim or out behind the keys which is kind of annoying for a $100+ keyboard. I wish it was better.

This keyboard utilizes mechanical keys with the tactile response we loved in the 80's and early 90's. It's super comfortable to type with this keyboard. The backlight is very nice, although it does not have any color-changing or pattern-changing options. Connection is easy and robust, and there is no delay or other electronic anomalies when using it. Charge time seems about normal to other keyboards, but is reduced if the backlight is constantly used. But there are no issues whatsoever that might impede the ability to use it for work. I would recommend this keyboard for anyone who desires the comfortable, tactile response of mechanical keys, and the ease of bluetooth portability and connectivity. My only wish would be to have a full, standard 104-key version of this keyboard with the ability to change LED color and flashing patterns. Nonetheless, those desires do not detract from the ease of use and great typing experience this keyboard might bring to your workstation.

I really like my new Logitech K88M keyboard! I was having problems with other keyboards - they are "flat", silent, and I was constantly hitting 2 keys at the same time, or hitting some key that took me to another screen!. This keyboard definitely helps me know if I tried to hit a couple keys, due to the shape of the keys, with the top of the key being smaller than its bottom. The backlighting is great, and I appreciate the clicking sound. I use it at my home desk multiple times a day for various activities - email, paying bills, working on family tree, looking at the internet for latest news, etc. As I stated before - This is the best keyboard I have used!

This keyboard is way better than the MX Mechanical due to its all plastic build, which I find to be less likely to dent and survive falls than the all metal build. On top of that, the keys feel a lot better with better back lighting and actually takes up a smaller foot print than the MX full size. Still going strong after my many months of use, and would indeed buy another one for a different setup.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and I think it's a good way to get used to it. I love the sound, the feel, and how fun it is to type with this. One thing I noticed though, is that I feel like the battery life is a bit shorter than I expected it to be. Previously I was using a rechargeable keyboard as well but I don't remember charging it as often as I charge this mechanical keyboard. I work hybrid schedule so I at least use it 15-20 hours a week and I charge this once every 2 to maybe 3 weeks. Again, this is my first time using mechanical keyboard so this might be something normal. But overall, great product and I am liking it.

The keys have great feel and snap to them. I use it as a work keyboard. Button layout on the 10 key takes getting used to but it is a compact layout. Overall great feel, connected easily. Fantastic small form work type keyboard.

First of all I should say I really do love this keyboard compared to the mx keys I had before. it's my first mech board since the apple macintosh II in 1995 and I can type faster on it for sure, although it seems sometimes you are likely to have more errors because you go so fast. The sound can be good but also a bit much for those around you so I keep a quiet one around.

I got this on my birthday to treat myself, and so far, this keyboard doesn't disappoint. I like the sounds it makes when typing; connectivity is also well done and easy to switch between devices

Just love that the keys are so easy to use. I like that it lights up in very dim room.

this mechanical keyboard is very satisfying for typing and is heavy so it doesnt move around your desk alot and battery last very long

I love how this keyboard looks and feels. A little bit of a learning curve with how small the 0 is and where the Home and End buttons are. Only complaint is the battery life. Will charge to 90% and after using for 2 working days, it’ll be under 70%. My MX Mechanical Keyboard lasts for weeks with 40 hours of usage a week and this will feel like it’s not going to get me thru 16 hours a week.

I've always found Logi products to be high-quality and functional. When it was time to replace my keyboard, I looked through the Best Buy site and found the Alto Keys K98M. I had not considered a Mechanical Keyboard until I saw it there, and decided to give it a try. This is by far the most comfortable and satisfying typing experience I've had. The resistance of the keys, the sound and the feel as I type is fantastic. The backlight is a nice feature, but it does drain the battery much faster than having it off. At first the keys seem a bit tight, but I got used to them and I type without any issues. The customization through the Logi+ app is good and I found it useful to set some personalization. If you are willing to go through a short learning curve, this is a great Mechanical Keyboard.

I really like this keyboard and the fact that it is wireless which is one less cord I have to deal with; I just wish the backlit light stayed on longer than it does. The color is not a true lilac but close enough.

Ya wanna make some noise? This keyboard is for you! Super heavy duty. This is gonna last.

The keyboard sounds, looks, and feels amazing. However when first using it, one of the switches was defective. I was able to swap out the switch for a key I don’t use, but for a brand that is marketing this product for their new switches, it is 1. disappointing that it was defective from first use 2. don’t sell the switches in store or online.

This is easily the best keyboard i have ever used in my life! The keys are creamy and smooth and a joy to type on. Considering buying more colors because i love it that much!

I have been using several of the same model of ergonomic keyboards for over a decade, but I recently picked up a second computer and needed a keyboard that could easily switch between two desktop setups. I have to say that ergonomics aside, which could be resolved by getting a wrist rest, this is a surprisingly well made keyboard. Keys are very responsive to inputs, the layout is sensible and it has a much smaller profile on my desk. Being wireless if I need to clear up space or use it with a laptop or tablet, it's very easy to set up. The only complaint I have is that I now need 3 logitech softwares to manage my different peripherals, but it's a minor complaint. Very happy with the purchase, I will likely be picking up a second for when I work in the office.
