Works great. Cool mist, not stuffy. Stylish & chic

If you plan to use this on carpet do not purchase this item. Even if you plan to stack it on something sturdy - do not purchase this item. This humidifier has a very bad flaw. The bottom of the machine acts like a vent so this humidifier can not be used on carpet. If you stack the machine on something, or place it on a sturdy table it will still somehow error and not work; possibly due to the slightest angle or surface of the item... It won't even work on concrete in the garage. When this machine errors it makes 10 very loud beeps - so you should not use this while you sleep unless you want a quick alarm. You can get these beeps to stop if you run for the remote and push a button. You should also know you can not turn this on, turn it off, or change any speeds without it making very loud beeping noises. These noises can not be turned off and the the higher the level the more beeps it will make. The only time this works properly is on the wood floor in my kitchen in an awkward location. When it works it works nice though and will sometimes make the area look like a smokey or foggy room. It's really cool and spooky. In conclusion I bought a more functional humidifier and use this as decoration; however, note that it appears better in online images as its really just plastic that can warp and change color easily. I would never give this to anyone and wish I never purchased it.
