We are a screen printing company using a lot of machines that produce heat in a building with only one door. This unit has helped drop the temperature in the production area 5-10 degrees when the cooler is engaged. We haven't had any problem filling it with either a garden hose or two-gallon bucket with a lip, but it is very hard to move the unit to the hose because the two front (locking) casters don't roll well at all. The gauge for the water level is not in a great spot and is hard to see unless you're on your knees or across the room. Instructions for using the unit mostly consist of a diagram of parts. But for its main purpose -- helping us beat the summer heat -- it has been a very good purchase.

Never having heard of an evaporative cooler before i did some research ans saw very mixed reviews on all brands of the cooler but decided it sounded perfect for my garage and patio in south carolina and for the great price i pulled the trigger.To be honest i have only used the cooler once and was very happy with the results as the fan is quite powerful and with the water added it definately reduces the temperature a good bit.Looking forward to trying it on my patio next year as it gets very hot and will update my review afterward.

Just add cold water and ice and this cools down a 650 square foot room nicely.

We live in an upstairs condo that gets insanely hot during the spring/summer, and we were looking for an option to help reduce our A/C usage and keep our electric bill down. We used it in our bedroom for a few days and it was extrememly loud and didn't seem like it would battle the heat very well in the summer months. It's probably much better suited as an outdoor or shop cooler.

It was too big for my bedroom I'm not sure how well it works I didn't use it

This item is good for a wharehouse or open space . It works but not for all

The water pump stopped working after less than 30 days of use. This was the 3rd, and last unit, I will ever purchase. I had to return two already. The water pump on all 3 units went out in less than 30 days. I received one unit where the water pump never worked. I am beyond disappointed and now without cooling in Arizona.

This unit said it would cool up to 600 sq/ft, however it handles my slightly larger house no problem. At first it seems like the fan is a little too noisy, but honestly it keeps the house cool and you hardly notice it after a little while. It sure is nice not turning on the a/c all the time now.
