I have about 30 hue bulbs in almost every socket in my apartment (minus the fridge and the oven, due to the obvious lol) and 8 Lutron Auroras, one for every switch. Regarding the price, I know it’s a lot for what amounts to a dimmer with a button in the middle, haha. I only bought one originally and felt a bit sillier after opening it to find its primarily made of hard plastic. DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU THOUGH!! I went and bought a couple more a day later and when I moved into my 2 bedroom apartment from my studio, I bought 5 more so all of my switches had one. Besides the build being plastic rather than stainless steel or aluminum, it is very much a quality product and works incredibly well with Hue. It is included as a Friend of Hue in the Hue app and setup takes a whole 30 seconds (if that) to setup. Could not have been easier and they work every time without ever skipping a beat. You will be very happy and much like the Hue bulbs themselves, you pay for the quality, integrity, and ease of use. Lutron outdid themselves and you won’t be disappointed!

Although the price is higher, these switches are great for any hone automation person with Hue bulbs. Install very quickly, easy to use, stable. Ive bought several.

This goes on a regular light switch. You dime the lights or turn them on and off. It’s perfect if you cannot switch light switches or you don’t want to spend the money on a smart switch. It looks great. It looks like a different light switch all together. Easy to install, you don’t have remove anything. All you need is a small screw drive to tight the switch on the light switch in the on position. Trust me, if I can install it you can too. Never had any issues with it. Worth it!!!

Too often someone in my family was switching off my Hue lights at the wall switch. If you're reading this review, it's probably a frustrating situation that you've experienced too. This switch keeps the lights powered and ready for your voice control via Alexa, Google Asssistant or your favorite home control app. It installed easily and has worked reliably for over a year now. I highly recommend hi product.

Great addition to a hue light setup when renting. Easy to install, durable and battery lasts a couple of years. A little expensive but worth it.

This is an awesome addition to a Philips Hue system. Super easy to set up. Super easy to install. Only negative I have is price is a little high, but totally worth it. Now I just need to update the switch plate to match.

Have used these products multiple times for my Hue Smart Lights, in an apartment where I have toggle switches and want to control the brightness of the lights this was the PERFECT solution, no electric work required. Perfect for rentals, perfect for making my smart lights easy to function without the phone for family or guests I have staying with me and also makes for convenience for me instead of turning the power to the lights on and off. Included are the photos of the 4 that I have installed now in my apartment for the 4 areas of my apartment I wanted to dim the lights. (Barring the fact I have fan speed controls next to them) I am an electrician by trade and Lutron is always my first go to for any kind of dimmers or speed controls and this product absolutely maintains the quality of Lutron products combined with the beauty of the Phillips Hue Smart Home.

Clean design and simple setup. Months without any issue's and no more people flipping the switch on the smart bulbs.

I was very hesitant with the price tag on this switch, but I eventually got annoyed enough by company always turning the smart lights off. I absolutely love that this switch holds the light switch in an on position, and it looks super natural along with the other light switches. Like I said in the title, just buy it already. It may not be a big product, but it does precisely what it is meant to do.

Great (if pricey) product. Super easy to install and every bit as reliable as the first-party Hue products/accessories. I'm up to two already and am looking to install a third. The only thing I can really think to criticize about Lutron's aurora dimmer switches is that the gray ring stand out a bit if viewed from a 90º angle (see photos). It's a minor quibble but one you might notice if using on any switch that's placed parallel to an entrance.

I love these switches, I use them in every room of my house. Perfect match for Philips Hue.

This feels like a half-baked product and way too expensive for what it is. There's light coming out of the back of the knob. Wish there was some sort of foam to block the light. There's also a delay adjusting my A19 bulbs. It feels really cheap and hollow. It's not a satisfying click at all. It seems like it's gonna snap the thin plastic. Lutron needs to try harder.

Tried to make sure it would be easy to uninstall or change battery the mount came with the dimmer disk & now cannot remove dimmer from mount. I will return the other 1 ASAP...!!! VERY cheaply made I had to pry the mount off from the bottom & it nearly broke. It pressed the back to far when I had to pry it & it stopped being is use. Eventually I popped it back together. DO NOT BUY...WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Expensive but worth it. Nicer to use than traditional dimmer switches and greater control over lights. The batteries last a long time - we have some running over 3 years. If you have bought into the Hue ecosystem these are a must try.

When I initially searched for a smart switch back in 2020 that didn't involve wiring, this one came up. I bought it to control some Philips Hue bulbs I got to act as a light switch to turn them on and off. This has worked more than perfect since then! They are reliable (maybe slightly slow sometimes, but nothing more than a second at most to turn the light on/off) and last longer than is noted in the manual. My original switch is still going strong after about three and a half years. It pairs easily with the Philips Hue app and is super simple to install on an existing switch. If you're like me and bought some smart bulbs from Philips and would like the luxury of both having a switch and controlling them from your phone, this is it!

I really like the Lutron Aurora smart dimmer switch for use with Hue bulbs. It was very easy to install and did not require any wiring. The capability it offers also makes it a nice addition to a Hue setup. Another benefit is that you don't have to worry about people turning off the power to your Hue bulbs by flipping the light switch. The only drawback is that it is priced like the Hue brand devices, meaning it is not inexpensive.

I currently have 4 of these in my house. The battery life has been great, almost two years without replacing them. Install was simple and they have a good feel on the wall. My wife loves that she can turn on an entire room without having to use the app. Just ordered two more.

So simple to install it's amazing! Install takes like 2 minutes. Turn on the light, screw on the mount, push on the switch, and configure in the Hue app. The nice thing about this design is that if you have two way switches, you can install it upside down as well. Battery replacements look easy and the switch can be removed in a minute as well (pops right off if you need to get to the base switch). I've got about 7 of these in my house now and they work great. The design is simple and the entire family got used to using them quickly. Turn to dim/brighten or click to turn on/off. Sure, I wish it was a bit cheaper, but I've found that Lutron products seem to be high quality. I hope that translates to years of trouble-free operation.

Hands down the best switch for controlling Hue bulbs. 100x more reliable than Hue branded switches. I have always found myself having to reset the Hue switches or press its buttons multiple times leading to major frustrations for not only my wife, kid and I, but anyone who came into our house. These switches are nothing like that. Very easy installation over already existing light switches and instant response when pressed. Been having multiple of these for about 4-5 years and have never had one single issue with any of them.
