Purchased this game for my nephew and niece (and ultimately myself) and we all had a blast! You are able to modify the intensity of the game depending on the skill/age of the player and the new version also contains a variety of new 'battle' games that were not on previous versions!

Mario Kart never disappoints, always love playing this game whether it be alobe or with several people.

My daughter and I love playing this game, but I feel not enough instructions are included. I ended up googling tips on how to play the game.

Great edition of Mario Kart. Looks amazing on the both the switch and TV. Good functionality for multiplayer.

This is how Mario Kart 8 was meant to be played. On mothers day I brought my switch and Mario Kart 8 to lunch and let me niece and nephew play. They had a blast. It's impressive how having the mobility options really increases the experience. I would highly recommend for any Switch owners.

I have Mario kart on the DS that is at least 4 years old and they look very similar. Graphics pop more but besides more races and characters still more or less the same game.

This game is great, but it gets very repetitive after a while. Great for when you have relatives coming over. However its not a game that I would play every day constantly.

We had such a great time Playing and Watching others play at New Years ...4 players makes it so much more fun ... different courses and Pimp out your own ride..

Wasnt sure how well my 5 year old would pick it up, but he did great and we were able to play together as a whole family. The instructions were simple to follow.

If you never got a chance to check out Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, and you happen to be one of the lucky few that own a Switch; you owe it to yourself to pick up this title. Adding in all the DLC plus new modes to an already incredible package takes this game from a must play to a must own.

I’ve been a fan since the n64 and I wanted to relive the nostalgia. It’s a blast to play!! I feel sorta like the karts don’t steer as good as they did. But over time you get use to it and have lots of unlocks.

Classic game that is always easy and fun to play. Great to get online and race with friends. It could use some campaign style gameplay.

If you have a Switch, realistically you need to own this game. It is now both the definitive iteration of the series for both console and portable, and its great to haul out when friends are over. And with the new steering assist features, its great to play with younger children as well.

Everyone loves Mario Kart! This is the best of all of them. All the DLC from Mario Kart 8 and it’s on the Nintendo Switch. Very family friendly game. I grew up playing Mario Kart with my little brother and we still do

So many fun courses and characters to choose from. The Booster pass adds plenty more to the experience… Why would anyone buy a switch and not get Mario Kart 8?

I bought this game because I wanted something fresh to play on the Switch. It's the classic Mario Kart gameplay. Always fun! It's the new Mario Kart remixed with some old faves.

Maybe I'm just old but I miss the simplicity of the 64 version, just hooking up a controller, choosing a character, beating your friends at the familiar courses and watching your character spin on that #1 block--as a champion! Now, it's a bit of a pain to get started; there are many additional steps than before, offering dozens of customization options for karts and characters. For those looking for a fun race game featuring Mario and crew, this game is great. I just miss the simplicity of prior versions.

Same great game I’ve come to expect! It reminds me quite a bit of the Wii version, but the multiple ways to use the Switch controllers makes it seem like a new experience.

Really fun game to play with friends and family we always have a great time.
