While Mario Kart 8 can be called a rehash of the WiiU version there’s something about being able to take a Mario Kart game on the go. Very good visuals and sound effects. If you’re going to buy a game when you purchase a Switch, this one will be the one

It’s what you would expect out of a Mario kart game, except on the newest gen of Nintendo system. Sometimes it feels a little rigged for the first place to not be able to hold it, and then lose at the last second. But its a party game, what can you expect!

Upgraded Mario Kart from when I used to play (N64). Its cool they have a lot of the same maps with upgraded features. The auto-steering feature helps for younger kids to get involved. Overall fun game.

This is the best version of Mario Kart 8, which I think is probably the best Mario Kart yet. Tight controls, depth, variety, and most importantly lots of fun. Would highly recommend to anyone especially with some of the added accessibility features added in this version.

Mario kart is a must buy on every platform. The regular game comes with a ton of tracks. They added some new dlc content but I haven’t bought it yet.

I play with my grand children and we love it but it’s a little hard but we keep playing it and now we are all playing better.

If you host gaming parties this is a must own. With the booster pass, this is the most content you will get out of a mario kart title.

This is my first MarioKart game since the SNES version. I absolutely love it and I cannot put it down. Online connections have been spotty at times but its hit or miss. Overall the racing is fun even when you get knocked from 1st to 8th or worse and it's always a blast.

I had Mario Kart 8 on Wii U, but enjoy it even more on Nintendo Switch! There is a noticeable difference in the Switch display graphics of 720p over 480p on Wii U and on the TV at 1080p vs 720p on Wii U! New additions of characters and the battle mode are well worth it!

Nintendo Switch is a good portable system for gaming. Mario Cart is a good installment of the Mario Kart series. Graphics are good and gameplay is easy.

Great game, but not enough differences between the WiiU version. If you own that, not worth buying this. If you passed on the WiiU version - go for it!

I've loved every Mario Kart game, especially Mario Kart Wii with the wheels. Bringing back some traditional maps is always so fun.

This is a great game to involve players of all ages, skill level and interests. The courses are pretty creative and diverse which can also be said for the characters and the battle mode. I'll never binge on mario kart but it will get played regularly and with friends

My kids have a blast when playing MarioKart. We are a family of four and we all play together. Keeps us entertained for hours.
