Loved this game on the Wii U. Had to repurchase for the switch (paying for the game twice was a bummer). Co-op is great, maps are great. The DLC from the Wii U version is included at least. Fun game to play alone or with friends!

This game was good but lacking on the Wii U but a huge improvement in the battle mode, having all the DLC unlocked out of the box, and the ever frustratingly fun racing of Mario kart makes this the best game of the series thus far.

This game brings out the fierce competitor in all of us! The battle mode is crazy fun. Best in the Mario series so far.

This game is really too much fun. Lots of content in terms of courses and car customization. If I have one complaint its that the old Mario Kart gameplay of having opponents catch up really quickly is still in this game.

I like that it has old and new courses, my friends kids love it as well so good for all ages. only down side is remotes can get weird with racing games and pull your car to the right a bit, but that could be a controller issue.

Even though I played MK8 extensively on the WiiU, I still bought this because it has everything included in the game and a few extras. Battle mode is a lot better in this version as well. Nothing beats Mario Kart on the go.

The graphics are great, the new battle modes are a lot of fun. The only downside is I bought it for the Wii U. I still love the game.

this is a fun game for both adults and kids. Younger kids are able to understand and play, yet challenging enough for adults.

Great game. Definitely a worthy party game to have, especially if you don't have the Wii or Gamecube version. The AI in this game does seem a bit harder, though.

This is a very fun port of Mario kart 8. Wish they would have added a little more to it though since I already own the wiiu version.

You can't go wrong with Mario games. This is a Christmas gift but I am sure it will be a hit.
