Its mario kart... what more is there to explain... buy it

All the other Mario kart games have been great except for the wii version which I did not like at all. I would love to try this one if Best Buy had a switch I could buy one day. Guess it will sit and collect dust until the console is available

I was excited to play some Mario kart on Xbox live gold and It doesn’t work on my xbox!

Good gracious, am I addicted to Mario Kart 8. Deluxe adds in enough content for the repurchase price for me. The online is still buttery smooth, the double items add an interesting extra layer of depth and chaos to the already fun fray, and the revamped Battle Mode returns to it's teeth gritting roots, with online play for Battles, too! The accessibility options with Steering Correction and Auto Accelerator are easy to turn on or off for each player, and may help those who need them. They don't handicap players from winning. Very smart move, Nintendo! Now small children may stand a better chance and have more fun! Tilt steering returns, too, and with Steering Correction, more people may enjoy the option to drive with Steering wheel attachments. I already thought Mario Kart 8 was a must own for the Wii U, including both of it's DLCs, but this package makes it too sweet, especially with the ability to take it on the go. 100% recommend for all ages looking for fun Kart racing action! I'll see y'all online! Give Matty the grumpy Mii Driver a honk!

It should of included an Amiibo with it. It's nice that you could get different outfits from different Amiibo characters. They should also let you to unlock them also by collecting coins.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this game. I made this purchase with the expectation that this Mario Kart game would be a fun experience. After playing it for a little over a week this game has exceeded my expectations. There’s a lot of fun tracks to race on and the gameplay is fluid and entertaining. I do like the many choices I have when it comes to picking a character and trying to customize what kind of cart I want to use with that specific character. It’s been a fun experience so far. I recommend buying this game if you’re looking to buy a game for the Nintendo Switch.

Let's see where do I begin! Well first of all, I'll tell you I do own the Wii U version and that I am a double dipper if you happen to be one of those on the fence wether to buy it or now still. This game freshens it up. All tracks plus DLC, Characters, parts, karts, and bikes. Butter smooth 60 FPS. Real battle modes and pretty good online play. (needs a touch work but nonetheless works great) Everything is unlocked form the start. All Modes 50cc-200cc with all characters. You can just dive right in! I've raced this game to death on the Wii U and somehow this feels refreshed as if it were a whole new game! So if your a new comer this game will easily give you hours and hours of enjoyment for your whole Switch life cycle! Racing, Time Trials, Battle modes, Online play, its all here. Trust me, this is a game that you'll love to play with friends even if they are not a gamer. Everyone knows Mario Kart. So grab some friends, have a party and get to having a blast!

not at all like the Mario kart for n64 like back In the day guides you on the course and doesn't let you have the freedom to mess up of course new gen tech

Awful. Ruined the n64 and nes versions I played as a kid (and adult). The steering assist is hot trash.
