Very disappointed this speaker comes with no charger so I have yet to find one without buying one to charge to use it!!

The music flowing from the front and the rear of the speaker. I returned the speaker after three days. I place the speaker next to a wall to watch the news on my Samsung Tablet. Why do I need music sounding against the wall? The crappy marketing is a big turn off. Who needs to look at a stupid arm with some crappy ink on it?

Overall I'm impressed by the build, look and sound of the Stockwell II portable speaker. Looks like an old school AMP with actual working nobs for volume, bass and treble, allowing for an app free configuration of the sound stage. I just enjoy the aesthetic. Syncing the speaker with my phone or other Bluetooth audio source was easy. Press a button, and ready to go. Turn on the sound and off you go. I tested watching video, mostly because I want to use this an outdoor speaker for movie nights, and it synced well and sounded great allowing me to enjoy the video sources. I was able to adjust the sound to for my ear to get the right boom from the bass without drowning out the treble. It has an aux jack in so that is a nice touch if you don't have BT device or want to use a cord. The speaker is IPX4 rated, giving it rain protection/splash protection allowing you to take it out to the pool or hanging outside without worry if a sudden rain storm occurs you are out your fancy speaker. It uses USB-C to charge which makes it easy to plug in and the battery have a great life, with an easy to ready indicator to let you know charge level. If you need a speaker give this on a look because it sounds great and better yet, looks cool.

I fondly remember Marshall amps from my childhood and the Stockwell II is a great little throwback to those times. This speaker just oozes retro with its styling. From the Marshall logo on the front grill to the three control dials on the top (volume on/off, bass, treble) to the included leather carrying handle you'll feel like you're holding something that was crafted rather than manufactured. Sure, it's a little square box of a speaker but I really dig the retro styling here. Sound. Let's be honest, you buy a Bluetooth speaker because you want to take your music with you. This Marshall speaker throws out way more sound than you would expect from just looking at it. It fills a room with excellent sound! The Bluetooth connection is rock solid with great range. Adjust the bass and treble dials to you're preferred sweet spot then just sit back and enjoy the warm sound. It's hard to believe such good sound comes from such a small speaker! The speaker charges via USB-C. A cable is included but you'll need to supply you're own wall wart or charge it via a USB port on your computer. The battery lasts a long time. Overall this is a great little speaker with lots of style.
