I love marshall speakers but this one is trash ! !!

Bad - I like marshall Emberton better than Stockwell 2

This is absolutely the best portable speaker I have ever owned. It has a gorgeous retro look, nice leather/velvet carry handle (that’s removable if you need), and typical Marshall sound quality. I’ve played Christian, country, and pop music on this speaker and it all sounds incredible. The battery life is fantastic as well. All in all, highly recommended.

I have had the opportunity to try this out in a variety of environments, including outdoors at a backyard cookout. Everybody was impressed by the sound quality and how loud it could be turned up. Something lacking on some other brands, and what sets this apart from other "Bluetooth speakers" is the analog controls, not only for the volume, but for bass and treble. No fumbling around a smartphone app to adjust these settings, they are right on top and easily accessible. I would consider this a premium product, with great sound quality, even at a distance, 20 hour battery life between charges, USB Type-C connector for charging and a 3.5mm aux jack for connecting non-Bluetooth devices. Well worth the investment. Rugged and durable design, that can take a little bit of punishment (I did not perform drop tests on this), and a solid build quality. Try it out, it's definitely a keeper.

This little speaker puts out an amazing sound. I was thoroughly blown away by the reproduction of sound that this little speaker achieves. Marshall Stockwell II is extremely easy to connect to your bluetooth device, I was connected in under two minutes. Upon connection I could hear immediately how great music sound actually sounds when played on the proper equipment. It’s very tunable via the two knobs located on top, one for bass and the other for treble. No matter the volume I play music there’s no distortion. It’s well built and has a retro look to it. It’s my new go to portable speaker for when I’m at home inside or out and wanting to listen to my playlist. I definitely recommend this speaker to anyone wanting the next best thing to listen to your favorite songs on.

I was really excited to open this new speaker. It sounded great and came mostly charged. I did go ahead and fully charge it for the first use. The speaker looks and sound are great. I really like the feel and it will appeal to any musician for sure. The place where I see this having major issues was when I had it connected to more than one blue tooth device. It did not know how to separate the two devices. This meant while listening to one device you could not use or even get emails on the other device. I felt the quality is there but the software needs to work.

The Marshall Stockwell II speaker is excellent. I own seven Marshall speakers. I recommend the gold lettering because of its aesthetic beauty. The speaker itself is beautiful to look at and very well made. Now let’s talk about the sound. I have seen reviews where people complain that the Stockwell is not loud enough. The Stockwell II is not going to blow you out of the room. This speaker comes alive at level nine. What is nice for me is that the sound quality is crisp and clear when the speaker is at full volume. I listen to rock and roll and the Stockwell delivers. This speaker is not about bass, but more highs and midrange and loud enough to really enjoy your music while not damaging your eardrums. The speaker arrived in pristine condition and was simple to pair with my phone and tablet. Best Buy had it on sale for $150.00 dollars and I have no regrets. It’s only rock and roll but I love it!

This speaker is one of the best I have. The sound quality is wonderful! The ability to adjust the treble and bass makes this great for the best listening experience! I work 3rd shift and listen to music every night. The battery last about 2 nights with full charge which is just outstanding!

I'm the proud owner of several different Bluetooth speakers, and this one is hands down my favorite. The bass from this little speaker is mind blowing! The highs are nice and crisp with minimal distortion. The volume goes high enough that it will fill a nice sized room to the point that it needs to be turned down to have a normal conversation. The size is just about perfect, and the sound quality and volume levels ARE perfect. 5 stars all the way, and recommendations to everyone, not just my friends!

Marshall Stockwell II cuts off the beginning of every song played through it if there are several seconds of silence preceding it. I have experienced this problem with both Bluetooth and AUX inputs; others have reported that they have it with the AUX input as well. Currently, this issue is the #1 critical review for this speaker on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2BYXG9JO7PK7F I have contacted Marshall support, and they see not problem with that, as the speaker "was not designed" for playing sound: "This speaker was not designed to be used with musical instruments, gaming, editing audio/video or for watching movies which is why you are experiencing issues when you use it for these purposes." (The above scenarios are where Stockwell II is completely unusable; for listening to individual songs it's merely infuriating). Steps to reproduce: 1)Connect speaker to phone or computer via AUX input 2)Play one song 3)Choose another song (taking 5 seconds between songs) 4)Play another song 5)Repeat Problem: the first beat of each song gets cut off Expected behavior: when I play a song, I expect to hear the WHOLE song, not just bits and pieces of it

Good product. If you looking to buy a wifi speaker this is the one to buy.
