Great performance with disappointing longevity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Follow up review…After great sound and performance for about 2 years, disappointingly, the speaker no longer connects to Bluetooth. This seems to be a known issue with many other customers. We have followed all instructions for resets and connectivity. I’m not saying you will have the same problem but it may be best do some online research before making a decision. I’ll continue to trouble shoot in the hopes of finding a solution but I’m not sure if I’ll decide on another Marshall product. BTW there is a 1-2 year warranty based on where purchased.

Overpriced garbage!!! Don't buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t normally write reviews but I would be remised if I didn’t warn my fellow patrons to stay away from this overpriced garbage. From one through five the volume is barely above a whisper. You get better sound off of your cell phone. On max volume I could barely hear it over the road noise in the car. It will definitely not do if you were trying to hear it at the beach or on a picnic. It looks cool and that’s all I have to say positive. This company needs to be ashamed of themselves for even producing this let alone making up the price to over $200. It’s the worst Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned. I just picked it up and I’m taking it right back to the store.

Posted .Thank you for your review. Many phones have the capability to play audio over 100db, but here would be a very limited frequency range when compared to a Bluetooth speaker such as the Stockwell II. Phone speakers can play high mid and high-mid frequencies very loud. There would be a major loss in the low end when comparing a phone speaker to the Stockwell II. Also, please note that due the use of D-Class amplification, the Stockwell II's volume will increase exponentially on the dial at levels 6-10. Below these settings at the dial, the speaker will be playing below unity volume. Amplification will logmarthically increase as the dial is increased at higher volumes. I hope this information is useful. Thank you so much for writing in.
