Excellent Dishwasher and Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased my dishwasher from Best Buy after reading numerous reviews and seeing that the installation was going to be no charge. The installation went off without a hitch, as the installer arrived exactly as scheduled and removal of old unit was included in the install. A week after install we developed a problem which we later found out was due to a mouse chewing on wires and the problem was fixed ASAP at no charge. The best part of this machine besides the clean dishes is how quietly it runs. Sometimes I have to put my hand on the machine to make sure it has started running. I liked this so much I convinced my neighbor to get one as well. He likes the fingerprint resistant nature the best.

Very Quiet, but takes it's time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer itself has so far performed wonderfully. It is unbelievably quiet and very easy to use. However, a full cycle does take much longer than our much older model did. We simply changed our dishwashing schedule to an overnight load on normal cycle. Quick cycle is still an hour wait time. Overall, performs as it should, just needs to be a little quicker. I guess it's better than using a wooly mammoth or an octopus like Fred & Wilma did.

Good dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs quietly, easy to load, Spacing in the racks is great. Holds a lot of dishes. Cleans well. Did not give it 5 stars because the cycle time is long.

Quite Dishwasher, but long cycles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been using our Maytag dishwasher for about a month. We replaced a 11 year old Whirlpool because the wire drawers were disintegrating. The Maytag dishwasher is very quiet and we really enjoy this aspect. Our old dishwasher was not nearly as quiet. In addition, the majority of the dishes come out clean. However, I would say that there are two things about this dishwasher with which we are less happy. First, the silverware compartment for the Maytag is inside of the bottom drawer rather than the door. This reduces the number of items we can wash each time. There really is a noticeable difference in the way we can load dishes due to the placement of the silverware compartment. Second, the cycles for the Maytag (new) dishwasher are much longer than our old dishwasher. If we use high temperature water for a load, the "normal" cycle is just over 3 hours. If you use the sterilize mode, the "normal" cycle is just over 4 hours. Lastly, I'm not sure how energy efficient this dishwasher can be with such long washing cycles.

Great Dishwasher!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like this dishwasher. It looks nice. Very quiet! I use generic dishwasher gel and it cleans everything very well. Even dried on cereal and eggs! Very roomy. Dishes come out dry though plastic container for silverware has droplets on it that can get on silverware when emptying. There has been no re-depositing of food onto dishes as my other dishwasher did especially with cereal.

Good value for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because it got very good reviews and had a price lower than other comparable models. Does a really nice job cleaning and is much quieter than the unit it replaced. The fingerprint resistant finish really does an effective job at resisting fingerprints. The only downside is that the wash cycle is really long so just don't plan on using the dishes you put in until the next day.

Works well but delivered damaged
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a quiet machine so far. Love the countdown timer. It doesn't alert you when it's done but I like that and it's not necessary since it has a timer. The door is pretty tight and has to be pushed all the way open but that might just be mine. The unit was delivered with some damage that seemed to not compromise the integrity but the top rack doesn't pull out smoothly and the door doesn't feel right. Considering a return.

Wow! If you don't buy-your loss.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so I don't do reviews usually. I often go ignore them when the product is good but not great. I will review only if the item is amazing or horrible. Well this time is amazing! Our last dishwasher was outdated but only about 5 years old. Couldn't clean anything and was just loud. This one is quiet, very sleek looking and yes the finger prints don't show up. Great for our little ones who like to touch everything. Installing was a breeze and now for the best part. I don't care how caked on or crusted your pan is, it will clean. Within reason!! Don't throw a lasagna pan in there that has been sitting in the sink 3 weeks I mean be reasonable. However, I'd you just made brownies or a cake and the pan had been sitting a day crusted on, it will be spotless when remove. In the few months I have had this thing now, not a single dish has come out dirty. The auto cycle feature is great and the ways times are almost double my old unit but uses about the same amount of water maybe a little more but not much. I'll take longer cycle for never having to rewash another dish again.. No more scrubbing pans before loading. Use comon sense; rinse food off because its bad to have large food particles in there, don't pack the dishes so tight nothing can move and always read the owners manual for recommendations. Follow that and this will be the best dish washer under 500 you have ever seen. I promise!

Quiet and clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After looking at several different dishwashers we chose the Maytag because it had real buttons on the front, stainless steel interior with white exterior (to match existing appliances), had our desired cycles including steam dry, and vented in the front. So far it has worked well from the day installed (about 2 months). It is much quieter than expected. The dishes are left a little damp, but every dishwasher we have used, five in all from Bosh, whirlpool, and maytag as we moved around were about the same. For the price, does the job.

Nice dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maytag quality, easy to install, easy controls, fingerprint resistant stainless and it actually works. Very quiet operation but the minimum cycle is 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. I recommend you use “finish” or similar or else your dishes will have spots remaining.

Great dishwasher but has defect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The title may be a little confusing. I love this dishwasher. It was leaking every fifth wash after one week. I even tried putting less dishes in. Nope. Finally had to call Maytag and told them the issue. There was a water leak on the bottom right of the dishwasher. They setup an appointment for a technician to come and check it out. The guy was great. He told me he's seen this in newer dishwashers. There's a rubber stopper (not sure of the exact word) that was causing the dishwasher to gather the water where the door is and caused the leak. After he changed the direction of those rubber stoppers had no issues since. We run the dishwasher almost every day and has been exactly what I was expecting when we got it. It's quiet and washed the dishes well. Definitely recommend this but make sure you check for a water leak and if you see it make sure you contact Maytag, they are excellent.

Game changer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best purchases I have made of all time! Gets dishes extremely clean, runs quietly, and has all the features you need for food safety (I am a proctor for the national food safety test.... I teach it. So I know what to look for in regards to it), and it simply LOOKS great! All the settings available make it a great deal and it is all you will ever need for a long time to come! The digital timer greatly assists in planning water usage and I haven’t really noticed any spike in the utility bill since running it. The price is great for what it does but I paid quite a bit for Geek Squad protection, installation, and haul away of the old model we had that hasn’t worked since we bought the house... the space in the tub makes washing large pots and pans simple and the stainless steel interior stays clean and sanitized. The only draw back is the quiet operation tends to fade quite a bit with time and usage... the insulation included to go around the outside falls thin and it becomes louder than it originally was (which is a selling point for the model). This is by no means a make or break when you compare all the benefits of this particular model, but I can put a damper on the fact that you paid for a certain level of sound and it begins to act as a cheaper style washer in regards to the noise level...

Great dishwasher!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this dishwasher. This is the only model I could find with an all stainless tub at this price point. After comparing many models and price ranges, I did notice that the price on this one frequently goes up and down between $499 and $649 so if you decide on this model grab it when its $499! The dishes come out spotless and squeaky clean. If you use a drying agent with the heated dry, than yes, the drying is good, just a little water on the top rack on the mugs but this is to be expected. Many reviewers disliked the length of the cycles. If you select power blast, sanitize and heated dry- yes, the cycle is 4 hours and 37 minutes. BUT- wait! don't change your mind yet!- that is the longest option- you can choose a quick wash and heated dry and that is only 1 hour and 37 minutes- and there are many other options in between. I've used the quick wash with heated dry and the dishes were very clean and dry. I only use the longer options if the dishes are really greasy and the dishwasher is packed. If I turn it on right before going to bed the time isn't an issue. The interior tub is huge and making me super lazy! I've already put my greasy pots and pans in along with all the other dishes and everything came out squeaky clean:) ..oh, and they recommend the cascade drying agent but I used a cheapo brand from the dollar store and it worked great

Nice dishwasher for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek squad delivery went flawlessly. The dishwasher is made very well and I love that it’s stainless inside the machine. It runs fine, extremely quiet and dishes come clean. The reason for 4 stars is that it takes sometimes 2 tries to turn on. It’s new so it may be just me or a glitch. I’m still trying to figure it out. I would definitely buy it again.

Super quite and cleans well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dishwasher was a replacement for our old dishwasher which died a messy death. This dishwasher is very quiet, easy to use, and I like the absence of a handle to get in the way. Good value and with the install included in the price, it was a great deal.
