The dishwasher is very quiet and does an excellent job in getting all the dishes clean. It has plenty of space to fit all your dishes whatever size the are. The outer panel has a nice finish and sleek look.

Cleans Dishes Better Than Old Unit

Replaced an old GE Pot Scrubber unit which was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. The unit cleans dishes much better than the old unit. Very impressive. Regarding the installer: not so impressive. He and his helper couldn't handle the job. I was forced to hire a plumber who completed the installation in less than an hour. Oh well...

I have only had the dishwasher for a couple of weeks, that is the reason for 4 stars. It is hard to review this early. It is very quiet which I really like. It seems to be cleaning the dishes well. Has plenty of room for our needs. No problems so far.

Bought this when my 11-year-old Whirlpool died. I don't know if this one will last longer, but so far, I love it. It is incredibly quiet and the dishes come out cleaner and with less second-hand food residue on them. I don't think I can get as many items in it as I could in the old one, but it seems adequate capacity-wise. Other pluses: the utensil basket is well-designed in a way that minimizes utensil nesting; the machine has several useful settings including an auto-sensor setting which seems to work perfectly, an extra power wash cycle, which I haven't used yet, a hotter water option, a high heat sanitizer cycle, and heated dry.It also can be set to operate on a delay and an led display shows a countdown of how long the cycle has to go. After a few weeks of use, I'm really happy with this machine.

This is the quietest dishwasher my family has ever had. Cleans and dries efficiently with tons of space to organize as many dirty dishes as you can. The style is sleek and modern...highly recommend!

I still can't believe it, and it's been a couple of weeks since this miracle machine arrived. It really does what it says it will do: washes even the really dirty dishes and leaves them spotless. It's very easy to unload and has changed my relationship with my kitchen. I no longer obsess about not dirtying more dishes or utensils when I'm cooking because the sink is too small for washing or drying them, and the kitchen always looks messy with drying plates or cutlery or pots. The kitchen is neat, everything gets put away in one go and I love love love my Maytag dishwasher. And we're using much less water in the process.

Very sturdy dishwasher and runs really quiet. Long wash cycles but that seems to be the norm. Door stays closed pretty tight and it is a bit hard to pull open. Love it so far.

We had a Samsung that only gave us problems and when to this dishwasher. For the money it is very good and the dishes are very clean. Hope it holds up for a long time now. Dropped one star since the rack is little awkward and feels a little cheap compared to other unit we had. For the price and with free install promo... very happy,

Had this for several weeks now. First, the installation by the Geek Squad was outstanding...very knowledgeable installer. And the dishwasher itself is excellent...my dishes all come out cleaner than any dishwasher I have used before (previous dishwasher was a much more expensive KitchenAid). Plus this thing is very, very quiet...sometimes I have to check it to make sure it is really on. Finally, i LOVE the fingerprint resistant feature....my prior KitchenAid was stainless steel and I had to constantly clean smudges off of it...I haven't had to clean my Magtag dishwasher even once since I bought it.

I have owned many Maytag appliances in the past prior to them being absorbed by Whirlpool. I knew this but was hoping that the quality would still be maintained. I was sadly mistaken. I waited to write this review 6 months after purchase to try every iteration to try and be happy with this dishwasher. First, I must say it is very quiet and looks nice. Beyond that :( I spent about $600 and another $250 for installation and parts needed. I know there are dishwashers for much more money but this was a lot for me and the most I have ever spent on a dishwasher. Previously I purchased budget models in the $300 range. In order to try and get this dishwasher to do it's job I have used every setting. Currently I use the highest setting and select the extra heat, the sanitize option as well. This makes the run time over 4 hours! I should note that I don't have a lot of hard cleaning with baked on residue. I mostly cook on the stove and don't burn things and rinse out the pots and dishes well before placing them in the dishwasher. This dishwasher cant even get the most basic residue off the pans. We have come to virtually washing the dishes ahead of time and there is still residue. I am using name brand detergent, and name brand rinse agent but I still have spots. After using heated dry, there is still water on items... I don't know what to say but so far this has been the most disappointing appliance purchase ever. I will be glad to change my review if Maytag wants to look at it and tell me there is something wrong with it or I am doing something wrong. I really don't think this dishwasher was tested by engineers... If someone out there has good reviews, please let me know what I'm doing wrong.... Thanks, I hope this helps!

I can only speak to the first month of use, but I have no complaints thus far. Has a sanitize setting which we use for baby bottles. Love heated dry, didn’t have that with last dish washer. Seems to take a while to actually run a cycle, but it gives you the time on control panel.

Didn't expect to like it as much as I do. It does a fantastic job cleaning the dishes, and they come out dry as can be. Only negative is that the cycle with sanitize takes 4 hours 11 minutes.

Was kind of disappointed in the first wash with a brand new dishwasher. I put a Rubbermaid tea pitcher in that had some staining and it still came out with brown residue on it. I was able to rub it off with my finger so it wasn’t something even my dying old dishwasher couldn’t have removed. It does seem to be getting better with each wash after I went back to liquid detergent instead of the power pack sample they sent with the machine. Only saying I would recommend to a friend since there isn’t a maybe option. Still not sold on this dishwasher. It also seems to have a really long wash cycle...like 4 hours. I wish the holes in the bottom of the silverware caddy were smaller as my chopsticks fall thru.
