    This washer was #1 on consumer reports however I saw nothing that stated how loud it was. So far it seems to work well but I have only had it a week. My only complaint is the noise.

    I tried a Kenmore Washer but didn’t like it. Violent shaking. This Maytag is solid and doesn’t move at all. Very happy w my purchase.

    Machine is loud but we kind the design overall. Quick wash doesn't get all the clothes wet so better off using normal wash.

    The machine door locked then the washer malfunctioned. People sent to do the repair could not open door said we should return. Lost clothes. I would give less than one star if possible.

    Cleans better than the top loader we had before. Less wear on clothes, and less residual soap on clothes than a GE top loader
