After almost 6 years of use, I find this washer to be just ok. Too many error codes thrown: SUD, F02, and E01. It is a pain in the butt to clean the filter/drain pipe because you have to unscrew the back panel of the washer, clean the filter, and then screw everything back up again. Time consuming and awful for disabled people- especially if they are set up stackable, which mine are due to the limited space. Get one with the filter up front so you can clean it yourself and avoid maintenance costs.

I purchase the top loader- MVWB835DW PAC TL WASHER WHT Model: MVWB835DW the washer did not washer heavy loads. My clothes were tearing so I went back to best buy and I told the technician I spend a lot of money in this store. I need the best washer you have in stork for my budget. He showed me the MHW5500FW FRONT LOAD WASHER Model: MHW5500FW I love it. It washes clothes thoroughly. Some says it loud but not to me. I feel like I got my best friend back. It's a awesome washer.

Perfect washer and drier! I strongly recomend them! After change 4 times my washer and driers finally i got maytag and i am happy! Thank you maytag fir this grate product!

I purchased the Maytag front-load suite 2 years ago. It's hands-down the best I've owned. My last 2 washers were Whirlpool Duets and they were great, but this Maytag laundry suite exceeds my expectations. I love my washer and dryer and hope they'll last until the kids are grown.

I love this washer. It's so easy to use and quiet.

Purchased this washer to replace a dead LG washer. The family likes everything about it except the wash times. The cycle times are noticeably longer than the old LG, but it does a great job cleaning our clothes. I would recommend looking for a sale, since the price is high for these types of washers.

The washer cleans clothes very well. The first set delivered was very noisy. We returned and exchanged for the same exact set. The washer is extremely quiet and the the dryer as well. Not sure what the issue was with the original set but sounded like something with the motors.

Fron the beginning it has error codes. It was service, and after the warranty expired, we continued to service it. I have the dryer and we have zero issues but the washer is a LEMON.

Bought in 10/22 and by late November got E1 F 4 error on all cycles. Called to get service and waited until January to have repair come out. They said it needed a new circuit board. Waited until Feb 23 to hear they can’t get one. Called customer support who was able to track one down for them but when the guy finally came back in March he discovered that the board had melted to the drum. Maytag said they would replace the washer. Got a new one in April. In June we started getting random errors but unplugging the machine and starting over it would work. Then in early July it stopped working completely. The tech said it was a power circuit issue and ordered a new part. Today the 2nd washer is throwing the E8 F7 error which according to customer support means I unplug and reset the circuit breaker which I have done three times now. Still getting the error. Did manage to complete the cycle on quick wash. Any other cycle I get an error. I am so done with this. Do not buy this model it is so awful! What happened to Maytag in the last few years? I have always loved the brand and had the Neptune for over 15 years with no issues.

We have a small house. Can't run if want to watch tv or have a conversation. Seems to work well otherwise. Replaced a Samsung which was never close to this loud until it broke.

Disclaimer: I am a Pacific Sales employee. I purchased this machine at retail without using an "employee discount". That being said, I took delivery on a set of these fine American made machines yesterday. No disappointments. The washer was big enough to handle a weeks worth of laundry in comparatively little time - I ran it almost constantly for most of the day. It's well finished. Controls are easy to use and self-explanatory. Used with Affresh and a minimum of care, the washer should be good for at least 10 years. The Maytag washer represents good value for the money.

Always a whirlpool customer but decided to try the MAYTAG due to better pricing and high rating on leading consumer review magazine. I miss the whites cycle that I always had on my whirlpool washer . Normal cycle takes about 40 minutes and clothes always come out clean. This is front loading washing machine and needs occasional wiping at the inside of the door to prevent mold buildup.

This Maytag washer is by far the worst I've ever owned (and the matching dryer is mediocre). The first washer we purchased had to be replace within a week because the installers couldn't get it balanced - and it vibrated excessively. The second (replacement) washer worked for only 6 months - then it began leaking water from the front door and barely spinning the water from clothes after the final rinse cycle. Called Maytag for under warranty service. The technician they sent out told me that the single, almost microscopic 6 inch blonde hair that he saw lying on the rubber seal was causing the front door seal to break. What??? If a single hair causes a breach in the door seal - this is not a functional washer! Still fighting with Maytag authorized service to get this washer repaired. I will NEVER but another Maytag appliance!

My wife did the research and picked this model. I am sorry I could not offer much insights. But one thing I noticed is that the machine does not shake as much as our previous 2 machines during drying cycles (I made sure they were level). Maybe best buy installers did a great job.

I have had this washing machine for 4 years and now it won’t turn on. Furthermore, my online research in trying to identify the problem led me to discover that this is a common problem with this model at the 4 year mark. I really expected more from a Maytag.

This washer is the noisiest washer I've ever heard. It does a great job with the clothes but you have to close the door to the laundry room because this thing sounds like a freight train coming through. Several of the installer have warned me that Maytag is the worst product available. They stated that Whirlpool is even better now. I hope this holds up long term but I'm not very optimistic.

Maytag I love Maytag products. I thought it’s very reliable. However, their customer’s support is terrible! I bought a Maytag washer with 11 cycle front loader. It was delivered on December 29th, 2018. I turned it on with a full load of clothes and got an error message to call a Tec service after running for 45 minutes. The molder running continuously and the door were locked. I have to unplug to stop the running molder. I called Best Buy and the earliest they can send a Tec over will be Friday, the 11th. I called Maytag customer service and they just told us to deal with Best Buy!! I am very disappointed with their respond! It is a new machine; can they try to send a service over earlier than Best Buy? When the Tec from Best Buy come on Friday, my wet clothes would be in the washer for 2 weeks. What would be the condition of my clothes?

Just bought this washer and I have it stacked. The spin cycle is like having a helicopter running in the laundry room and it is so violent that the washer moves around the room and I am concerned that the dryer is going to topple off of the washer. It is insanity that this is considered acceptable performance. It cleans well and other than the spin cycle seems to work fine.
