I have always been a Maytag person. My 11 year old did a great job but I had to leave it for,the buyers of my home. This new one is even better! Clothes are cleaner! Machine is so quiet I don’t hear it at all.

We purchased this as a replacement for a 10+ year old Kenmore front loader. This Maytag takes about the same time for each cycle and makes about the same amount of noise as the older Kenmore machine. It is a bit more quiet on the spin cycle though. The interior light is nice when retrieving items from the back of the drum. The fresh hold option is nice although we generally try not to leave clothes in after the cycle is complete. The electronic sounds to indicate cycle completion are interesting. We bought Maytag for reliability and hope this one will give us at least 10 years. Price was reasonable in comparison to other options. We were advised to stay away from Samsung.

We have used our new machine for a month. We went through Best Buy and all the local home improvement store ads, coupled with the latest big consumer magazine reporting on all the available models. This was the top rated. Best Buy was in line with the other prices, and is the ONLY store chain we found that carries it in stock without an additional delivery time. The manual is easy to read to brush up on all the features of each cycle. I like the variety of load capacities, wash cycles, spin speeds, etc. The fresh hold feature is great to turn on for every load, just in case something comes up (or you totally forget the load) so it is still good for putting into the dryer several hours later.

Lots of cycle options. Washes very well. This is the loudest washing machine I have ever had. Even when the cycle is just starting the controls and door lock is extremely loud.

Have used this machine on several different cycles and each has performed very well. Some of the cycles appear to run rather long but with Energy Saving performance not a problem. Wash comes out fairly dry even before dryer so saves energy that way.

This unit is easy to run and the capacity is very large. I did try to get the Whirlpool W10250743RB Laundry Detergent Cartridge Dispenser and it does not fit this unit. Despite that I would purchase this unit again I love it.

Good but could use some improvements. Too easy to accidentally turn on the controls while walking by and brushing against the washer. Also door is so large that a laundry basket will only fit under it when the door is open. Does a good job in washing clothes. Relatively quiet.

This washer not only cleans clothes, but really dries them a lot during the spin cycle. I have two sets of washer/driers and I wish I could afford to replace the other with this. It really cleans, dries, and the capacity is amazing! Enjoy!

Went from top loader to a front loader. This machine is so much more quiet, love all the different cycles and the ability to create my own custom cycle. Clothes come out clean and the color metallic slate is beautiful.

This washer has a drain and spin cycle. That is so hard to find.

This washer is wonderful. It's not loud compared to my previous washer and gets clothes clean in a flash. The maximum extract spin speed is great and makes drying much faster. Previous reviews complained about the chiming noise, but it is not bothersome at all in my opinion. One note-if you have an overflow pan under your washer (usually used for 2nd floor laundry)You may want to check the size before delivery. I didn't and my older pan was too small for the new washer. I had to purchase a new one and put it under myself which was a little tricky. All in all the purchase and delivery were superb.

I love front loading washers for their engery and water savings. This one has a lot of great features. Only thing I don't like is the controls on the front above the door. If you walk by and barely touch it it does its chimes. It's just annoying but the washer works great.

Definitely an upgrade over our old Bosch washing machine.

I'm so pleased with this washer. I do 10-14 loads of laundry per week. So far this washer has lived up to expectations. Clothes are clean, saves water, appears to be very well made. Solid and sturdy. Large capacity tub.

after having these for a couple of weeks now and washing several loads both whites and darks i can honestly say it does a nice job. im not thrilled about the little pod not dissolving completely while the washing is going on but clothes seem to be getting clean and smell a whole lot better than the duets that we replaced. i gave it a 4 star because the pod casing doesnt dissolve all the way.

Great washer. More efficient and quiet good purchase

Washes clothes clean. Very little soap required. Seems well built. Very quiet. Does the job and nice looking. Hoping it lasts but things today have programmed obselesence. Fingers crossed.

After much research, through Consumer Reports and customer reviews, I decided the Maytag Fresh Hold Washer (with matching dryer) was the best option for my needs and my budget. I could not be happier with my decision. My clothes have never been cleaner, softer, or smelled better. And the dryer, my clothes have never dried quicker. Noise is not an issue because my washer/dryer are in the basement. However, I don't think that they make any more noise than any other comparable washer/dryer. I also have not had an issue with 'walking' or off-balance shaking...even with a full load of heavy jeans or towels. If you are having an issue with walking or off-balance, I suggest you check to make sure your unit is level.

Purchased this washer as it was a top recommended washer by Consumer Reports to replaced a dying GE. Could not be happier with it! Cleans very well, quiet, simple, and efficient. Looks great as well!
