We bought this Maytag Gas Dryer and a matching Maytag top loading Washer to our first floor 18 months ago and couldn't be happier with having flawless operation of both machines. These are both "Smart machines" with the Maytag APP on our phones allowing us to monitor the cycle times or alerting the finish times. We especially like the Wrinkle Guard feature on the Dryer and the front door tilting down.

Pretty good dryer, just double check heavier soiled clothing/blankets etc. Overall it dries (& stops drying) lightier soiled item througout but I need to check jeans/sweatesr for wet spots. Usually remote restart the load or just override the setting by selecting a timed dry.

We bought this dryer and matching washer about one month ago. very impressed with the drying modes available especially wrinkle control as well as the sensing mode. Once you start the dryer cycle sensing mode determines actual drying time and adjusts the actual dryer time. It also has a large dryer drum. Just love everything about this dryer. Additionally both the washer and dryer fit nicely even in a small laundry room.

It was good while it worked. We bought it back in 2021 and a year and 3 months later done. It would not start a cycle, thank god for geek squad warranty, we'll be getting a new one since it can't be fixed. Don’t buy unless you're getting extended warranty.

After the technician installed the gas dryer and test it but the dryer not working only shows close the door. To start a cycle the door must be closed and have a scratch on top of the dryer. Now I have to wait for the call for another delivery.

We bought this gas dryer to complete the Maytag set. Another store sold us both the washer and dryer set however when they could not deliver for 6 months we went to Best Buy. I was able to go and purchase the dryer at the store, and it was delivered and installed within a couple days, The White Glove delivery service is great and I recommend it. The dryer itself is very nice. It dry's the clothes very quickly. No more have damp items. It has multiple settings and extra power button. We did wash and dry several large bedding items and it worked well. We really like this unit. We would recommend Best Buy and this Maytag dryer.

I have had this dryer for about a month. It dries clothes (even large loads) quickly and is quiet - it is a really great dryer. A bit expensive but Best Buy price matched (saved $100), and the delivery and installation was quick and painless - nice delivery team. I am loving my new easy to use and very efficient dryer!

I’m one for simple appliances. And this is the simplest one they offer. You can use it with or with out downloading the WiFi app. The drying time is significantly less than when I had the electric version of this dryer the custom settings really help you take the guess out of how long and how much. Don’t forget that damp notification. That is everything! Your clothes will always be dry.

Excellent machine, well designed, very versatile with many options but not complicated. Quiet and powerful, works very well. Had to have installer convert to down-vent, very difficult so needs skilled workers (used West Coast Appliance Installers as recommended by Pacific Sales-- excellent work) and special kit (same kit for side-vent W10470674 ordered on Amazon & received in 7 days)

Nice big drum inside just as I wanted. I love the dryer. My only complaint is the sensing. Sometimes it leaves clothing damp. I only wish I could turn it off. My husband seems to like it too he said his clothing is soft and not overly dried. Great product. My last maytag lasted 24 years.

I've been used for months now. Working no problem, really quiet and all features are working great. I am not sure about the hamper door that will last than the regular door. Clothes are not dropped to the floor, but I have to reach out to deep inside, which is pretty hard.

Great capacity and great drying time, love have clothes done quickly and wrinkle free. Use of wifi to my phone telling me my loads are done is a great feature, love this dryer!!

My mom is very happy with her dryer easy to use and is big to put a lot of clothes a one time plus is very quite and the app is a good thing to have

Great size, easy to install. All the modes are useful. Wifi feature is amazing. Easy to use and set up. Very quiet. Fits big items.

This is my third set of Maytag washers and dryers. Bought my first set around 1987, second set around 2002. I always buy the middle-of-the-road model; not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Everyone says that appliances are getting less reliable, but I've had great success with Maytag. This new dryer has more features, is bigger and quieter than the last one, and seems to be very well made.

Easy to use, worked perfectly! Great for all variety of materials. Ran quietly. Love it.

Pros: Capacity, wash quality, sleek, nice features/options. Cons: I went from a c. 1999 Kenmore (agitator, top load) to this Maytag. While it washes well, I miss the powerful yet much shorter cycles of my old Kenmore. Why do these high efficiency machines have to take an hour? My old Kenmore could do a full load in 20 minutes.
