Many appreciate the immersive VR experience and the affordable price point, although some users note challenges with achieving optimal focus and image clarity. The fit is generally considered secure and adjustable for various phone sizes and head shapes. While battery drain is a concern for some VR apps, the overall user experience is largely positive.

I was completely satisfied with the purchasing process and, the product has met all of my expectations. So far I have used both a Galaxy 5 and Galaxy 7 with the device and am completely satisfied. I would recommend this product

The Merge VR headset is outstanding. I did my best to research all of the many different VR units available and decided to go with this device. I feel I made a very good choice! The unit is very durable and yet very comfortable to wear. I have an iPhone 6s and it fits into the headset perfectly.

Above average solution for mobile VR

Merge has provided us with an above average alternative to the Google cardboard box that started the craze of mobile VR. It's comfortable and compatible with a wide variety of smartphones! My only complaint is that it's a touch too small for the Droid Turbo 2. If you have a smaller phone you will have no issues, just make sure your device is powerful enough to provide smooth head tracking.

Bought a couple for neice and nephew for Christmas and they were a huge hit!! They both have iPhones but different sizes. I can't provide much information about functionality but I do know the kids had them up and going right out of the box and had us experiencing wicked roller coaster rides and walking the streets of foreign countries with 360 just like we were there. Amazing!!

This VR headset works great if you don't already have a VR headset and works especially well with the Merge Cube. Recommended!

After purchasing the Gear VR and having to return it due to overheating issues, I read the reviews on bestbuy.com for several alternative VR Headsets. This was the set with the best reviews. Sure enough they were right. The headset is super comfortable. It fits and holds my galaxy S6 flawlessly. It uses google cardboard compatible apps and their are an abundance of them available. The price is just right (not too cheap/expensive). The only issue I had was sometimes I had double vision. For that, I looked up the issue online and found a page w several headset barcodes to scan and I kept scanning till I found one that worked for the particular app I was having problems with (usually the classic google cardboard barcode works universally best).

These goggles are a lightweight and comfortable way to get into the world of VR. They also have a Google cardboard action button which taps the screen so you don't have to remove your phone. My only complaint is that they seem a bit expensive for something that is made out of foam rubber. Otherwise it's a good product.

    Light weight but insufficient circulation

The goggle works as described. It's pretty light weight and comfortable to wear. Could get warm for extended use due to insufficient circulation. But to be fair, there is trade off between more holes for better circulation and less holes to keep the inside dark enough for better viewing.

With all the VR hype out there, I wanted to give it a shot. After some comparisons, I settled on the merge VR goggles to pair up with my iPhone 7+. A couple minutes of use left me wondering why I just wasted money on this. Here's what I liked and what I didn't like. Like: light weight. Comfortable design. Works with all the google cardboard VR apps. Dislikes: the foam material, while light and comfortable, didn't allow for easy loading in of my phone. Yes it fit, but it was tight to the point that I thought it was going to tear the goggles. And if I had my case on the phone, forget about it! Also VR still doesn't feel ready for prime time. Most apps support a single click interface--which these goggles do, but it's a little silly. Many apps require a click to load, which doesn't pair up with the click interface on the goggles. You need a headset that allows you to QUICKLY load in a device and for iPhone Plus users, this isn't it. One last note on the apps, I never found one that made me feel wowed. The YouTube stuff is cool, but video quality isn't great on most of the content out there. In the end, I returned this product, because I knew after trying it, that I wasn't going to use it much. If I were to advise ppl on trying VR, I'd suggest a google cardboard. Yes, you have to hold it in your hand, but it'll let you know what to expect without spending a lot of money.

works with the smartphone and the neat part is you can put smaller and larger phones inside it. we haven't tried the more expensive video headsets yet for around $50 this was a great buy when you want to see a video in 3d. I personally get tired very quickly watching videos in 3d but the kids like it.

So, obviously it's just a piece of foam - but I was pretty impressed with it as an entry-level AR/VR purchase. I love that the lenses are adjustable! Quality is only going to be as good as your smartphone's resolution. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, so the quality was good - but I had to take the case off of my phone to get it into the goggles - and even then it was a tight fit. I bought it along with the Merge Cube for the Rubik's Cube app which looks a lot more fun than it actually is. It's kind of a pain if you're watching a long video and you want to jump back or ahead - have to take your phone out to do it - maybe there's a video player that works better with the Merge but I never found one. But, for under thirty bucks, I am not disappointed with this purchase and the value is worth 4 stars.

The Merge VR goggles are a fun first step into the VR world. They're inexpensive and not too heavy. They also seem pretty rugged, so good for a child to use. The onlly downside is that you MUST check that your phone will fit.

Bought the Merge because it fits a variety of phones and is not locked into one system. It was also important that the focus can be adjusted. Meets these needs.

After doing much research on VR goggles, I decided on the Merge. The purchase was a present for my tween grandson who likes to stay on top of electronics. The Merge seemed to fit nicely with his IPhone and the price point was great for a beginner. I just received a telephone call from him telling me that the goggles are awesome and he really loves them. Thank you for making me look good!!
