I love that my computer came with the trial that I could just download from the link Best Buy sent me after my purchase. I was worried that it would be different on my Mac than it was on my windows computer at work but to me it was the same. I’m not a huge fan of it being a subscription vs a software that you buy once and it is just updated as needed but I that’s a very small issue for me.

Microsoft now has two types of Office, Office 365 versions (subscription based) and Office 2013 versions available at a one-time retail price and you own it for forever. Hope this was helpful to you.
