A few (Very few) features I consider an improvement, but overall I’d go back to older versions if it were possible. Actually, I still have a legal install CD of Office2003, and may see if It’s compatible with Win10. Designers of newer software attempt to make the software Intuitive to idiot-proof it, and in the process they force the user into certain unwanted conventions. “If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it” comes to mind. New users won’t know the difference.
