A little slow but the screen is sharp and clear. Touch screen is nice, especially for viewing pictures

Microsoft made it very easy for me to install the full Microsoft Office Suite on my new home computer. Plus it comes with a bunch of other features that are icing on the cake. Office 365 Personal is simple to buy and download. Gone are the days when I’d have to drive to the store, find the software I wanted somewhere in the giant superstore, deal with the checkout line and driving back home to install the software from CD’s. The ability to download and install right from my home is so convenient! I did have a little bit of a hiccup while installing, which wasn’t a big deal but it did add a few more steps to the installation process. I downloaded the Office 365 installer, and launched it. Immediately the installer halted and alerted me that I had an outdated version of Office on my machine. That was true! I’d had an old version of Office on CD that I had installed, but decided it was so old that it wasn’t worth using. So before installing the 365 version I needed to uninstall the old version. After doing that I returned to the installation, and this time it went smoothly and effortlessly. Before long I was up and running, the first application I ran was Microsoft Word. All the .doc files on my storage drive were now completely readable and editable. Same for all my .xls files, my spreadsheets came up perfectly and were formatted correctly. There are a few free applications available online that provide many of the same type of applications that Office by Microsoft provides. But none are as refined, or as feature rich as Office. For a small amount of money, it is totally worth it to own (or lease) Office 365.
I set up Outlook as my email reader to use instead of my service provider’s version. It is so much better! It is certainly partially because I’ve used Outlook for years at work, so I know it very well. Having all my personal email at home using the Outlook interface is just a great and intuitive solution.
Powerpoint is something I’d normally only use at work, but I’m finding more and more uses for it at home. Particularly with the Office 365 version, which has all types of new features and upgrades. I have been astounded by how good PowerPoint has become in creating graphic materials. It’s very powerful, and I love using it.
There are many other features and bonuses that Office 365 can boast of. I was looking for the familiar interface that I know so well after many years of using it at work. I didn’t want to relearn some new application. Microsoft made it simple of me to get up and running quickly, and I think the price is right. But be aware this is an annual subscription. So you will get charged a renewal fee year after year. I’m still saying it’s a steal because Microsoft will continue to push updates to the suite to keep it up to date and feature rich. Along with the applications I’ll use the most of (Word, Excel and Outlook), you also get PowerPoint, OneNote, and even 1TB of storage online. I run this on my PC running Windows 10. But you can also install this on an Apple Mac, or a system running and iOS or Android OS. There’s so much technology here!
If you need office-type applications at home do yourself a favor and skip the free office suites. Yes, those do the basic job just fine. But none are as refined as Office 365, none are more tightly integrated and none are more widely accepted as the premier way to create productivity documents. Good job Microsoft! Great product! Priced Right!

The product is a great product that I have purchased before and am liikely to purchase again but because I returned the laptop I no longer needed it but BestBuy would not honor the reurn because the grey was sratched off even though the Geek Squad could verify that it had not been used.

I mean don't get me wrong. I love Office. But really all I use it for is Word. I think I've only ever met 4 other people who actually use all the other stuff. So in my opinion you should be able to choose what part of Office you actually want so you don't end up paying an arm and a leg for all the stuff you don't want. It's waaaay too expensive.

I wish I didn't have to keep purchasing this products. I've spent a ton of money the past two decades. And who made the decision to cut out the WORKS stuff. All my database stuff no longer works. All my work reimbursement programs have to be redone. UGH. I know you think EXCELL does the same stuff but it doesn't and it is harder to navigate.

This product messed up my Microsoft Office I already had. I thought it would nicely update it, but come to find out, you have to remove your Office from your machine. However, Microsoft says if you don't like their product, you can remove it and only pay for one month. Then you have no older product because you removed it. The Geek Squad had to put my old product back on, even though I had NOT removed it because the new one messed up my Outlook completely. And I had to pay to have it fixed . If you don't own any Microsoft Office product, then it would be fine. But not if you already have one that works on your computer. Wish I had known.

Great price on BestBuys end. However had problems downloading due to having to switch laptops. Microsoft has been no help and I’ve been dealing with the issue with their technical support team for a month now. This review reflects the product made by Microsoft. Not anything on BestBuys end.
