Great All-in-One Productivity Solution

I had a great experience purchasing Microsoft 365 Personal from Best Buy. The process was very straightforward—delivery was instant and activation was quick and hassle-free. Everything was in one place, which made it really easy to get started without any confusion.
The subscription includes all the essential apps I use regularly like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and they work smoothly across my laptop and phone.
Overall, this is a convenient and reliable option if you’re looking for an all-in-one productivity solution. Buying it through Best Buy made the experience even better with a simple purchase and fast setup. Definitely recommend.

It's MS Office. It's free. Auto renews at current rate which isn't always the best rate.

Apparently this has “Lapsed” whatever that means. It is June and the subscription is supposed to expire in July 12, 2021 AND it supposed to be renewable, but they have already expired my subscription a month before the year subscription is supposed to be expired. Not sure what happened and probably will never know at this point.

I paid $50 for this and I didn't need it... my computer already had Word and Pwpt and Excel on it so I did not use this Microsoft office card, and I've been trying to contact BestBuy online, via phone, via email, and through my order status to try to return this because I would like the $50 back since I just spent $2500 on a computer and phone, but no one has gotten back to me or knows how I can return this.

Climbing aboard the 'subscription based' platform was much easier than I had anticipated. I own copies of the persistent license products across a few machines but opted to install 365 Personal on my newest laptop. A few years back I tried the Personal edition and wasn't very satisfied with the 'click-to-run' processes but I can say that with the most current platform, things do seem to be more seamless.
I'll outline several bullets of my observations:
- Following the simple directions to install from the /setup webpage was much easier this time around, where the selection of the 64bit version was clear and precise.
-The entire installation process was pretty quick and without hiccups.
-The introduction of the new dark theme is very appealing on a laptop platform.
-Having the core programs plus Outlook, Access and Publisher over the basic Home key card product is a tremendous value for the annual renewal price. I use Publisher quite a lot for personal projects, it's quick & intuitive and I've very happy it is included.
Access on the other hand ... I probably won't use.
-The added benefit of having new features readily available throughout the subscription period is a big bonus vs. the persistent license route.
-It's still too early to tell but I am hopeful that the ongoing update path will be smooth & painless ... unlike the bungled Windows 10 twice-a-year updates for 2018.
If you have a lot of computers in your arsenal/home, the $99 plan is even a better value.

This isn't a review of the product so much as it is why it was sold to me. I purchased a Chromebook, and was informed buy the customer service rep that Office 365 was compatible with this system. It isn't and I haven't been able to use this subscription due to this error on Best Buys side. Definitely threw money out of the window on this one.

Do not get this product. It is horrible! Full of bugs. Not compatible with anything. Slows computers down.Crashes computer. Getting help, LOL Forces you to use all microsoft products. It came free with laptop. Well, I am going to talk to Best buy about getting just word or outlook. This online subscription is a joke. If best buy won't work with me, I am going to uninstall and install my older versions which I own outright. CON

Its office and Microsoft.. I gave it 2 stars because of that. Also it is "subscription" so for it to work you must renew each year...

I have had Microsoft (including version 10) products in the past. To be clear-- I'm NOT one of those 'Apple' people trying to 'dis' MS. That said, I've had nothing but issues with MS 10 on this PC ---and don't even get me started on MS EDGE, which has made a true mess of things. DO NOT DOWNLOAD it! I'm going to have to bring this brand new laptop somewhere to get someone to unravel this Microsoft Mess.

Not a huge fan of 365, I can see why others might like it. I like the set up of 2013 though, but maybe I'm just being old school

Love the flexibility and structure of licensing

When I bought my new Lenova Yoga Thinkpad it was time to update to MS Office 2013. The option of licensing this for 1 year was new to me. I chose to try it: the free upgrades and benefits are totally worth it and what I saved on the software I could put toward the new computer. I'm glad I did except we wish we would have purchased the licenses for 5 PCs. instead of for 1. Even though we only have 2 PCs in our house its still cheaper in the long run than purchasing the personal license separetely for 2 people each year.
Outlook 2013 is my only complaint: I've used Outlook since 1992 and I do a lot of economic research. Much of the data comes to me in emails, so in order to save 10 years of data I HAVE to save the Outlook emails and migrate them to the new computer. We had all kinds of trouble doing so and I had to purchase the MS Support access for $149 for 1 year in order to get Outlook 2013 to work: it took me about 3 weeks and lots of answer desk phone calls to get it all to work. Now that I'm using it I have to say as an Outlook User since 1994.....I really don't like the Outlook 2013 version: it is quirky, not intuitive, hard to find functions, each tab page is SO busy its hard to read. They changed some basic function labels so even though I'm a pretty savvy Office user from the IT industry, there are some functions and features I still can't find. If it were not for my years of research I need to preserve I think I would switch email clients.
On the upside I do love the new features in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel that were made in 2013. I'm not using the cloud as we have our own cloud and my Lenova Thinkpad also comes with a cloud, so I have a plethroa of clouds! But this would be a huge benefit for someone who does not have their own cloud.

Bought this as a Christmas gift. When we went to load it the activation code was invalid. Spent hours trying to get help form Best Buy and Microsoft ....best advice is to go back to the store of purchase. Very frustrating and I work and go to school so I don’t have time for useless running around!!! I expect what I spend my hard earned money on to work!!!
