After using some other office products, including free options, I just felt there were always features missing. The return to Microsoft Office had me reaching for the credit card, but you get you pay for. The installation was easy enough through Windows 10, the required key is typical, but no problems from start to finish. With my subscription, I am able to install up to 5 machines, a nice step up from single purchases for single users...that can really save small businesses some money if they buy new computers every 2 or 3 years. I was even able to log in Microsoft Office Online on my old Chromebook, which can't get anymore software updates from Google. All the robust features for documents, spread sheets, and mail are available, it even seems Microsoft removed some bloating....opening, saving, and closing the apps seemed quicker. Of course, great template selection if you don't want to create from scratch your own documents. I think it's easier to say that if you want the best, you have to pay for it. Nothing against free stuff, but it doesn't always give you that accomplished feeling. The subscription is based on yearly renewals, I have no problem with that.
