There is a significant lag and it is not worth the price. I never saw any level of 4k quality video when I connected it to my 4K TV and streamed 4K videos on youtube from my 4K laptop.

Cord too short.

Well I connected it and then had to connect to the monitor everytime I turned on the computer. Sometimes it took minutes to connect. So I tried an adapter that I had for my MacBook and it connected immediately and turns off immediately. I wasted my money because the sales person didn't know what they were talking about.

I might try this 4k again but will wait for another revision.

It either stretches it to the sides and distort the image OR if I want it to NOT distort, it will have 4" black unused space on each side. I'm frustrated, if I knew it was not smart enough to fill in the whole screen without distortion, I would have not gone through this waste of time and money. This is not a plug-and-play device...actually, it will never work. I check the display settings, there's no option to make it fill in 100% (although it says 100%, but still wrong). I checked for display and monitor updates, they al appear to be the latest and greatest, so my conclusion...this is a piece of garbage. Don't buy it. Up to today March of 2022, Microsoft still has a long way to go in wireless display adapters. I would not recommend this to a friend...heck, I don't even have the heart to recommend it to an enemy.

I tried updating and installing the comanion windows app and no fix. After much research, I realized this is a problem many are having and there isn't a solution.
