With this adapter I can duplicate or extend the monitor which has allowed me to instruct on the board and have the laptop and a larger monitor all connected at once. This allows me to have multiple things open and not accidentally show the students something they didn’t need to see.

As a middle school Teacher it has been a real asset to be able to move around the classroom with my labtop and monitor students while teaching, meanwhile my lessons are always displayed amd modified on the Television monitor. It’s So great a gave it as a gift to fellow teachers a must have!!! Buy one for a teacher in your life .. they deserve it!!!

There's a bit of a lag between the sound and the picture, and I have to restart my computer each time to get it to work with streaming, so I will continue to troubleshoot. It would be nice if this was a little more user-friendly.

If you have an empty HDMI port and an empty USB port on your TV or monitor, you can be sharing your screen in a matter of minutes.

I also recommend using netsh to set local rules to ignore overlapping local networks you do not connect to, even those listed as unsupported. Prior to making these two changes the device had a habit of staying connected for less than the length of a movie. Since applying the update and implementing a noise reduction strategy I am able to maintain the connection as long as I've tested to date(five days). A very inexpensive and functional, if not the best performing solution to wireless HDMI. Further to that point, the signal and picture quality will be greatly influenced by th entire chain of devices involved.

If you have a PC and want to broadcast wireless to you big screen this is the way to go! Everything is native in Windows ten and you don't have to use a browser.

Had to make sure all windows updates were installed and after rebooting my surface, the connection was successful. Picture quality is good and crisp.
