Very easy to set up use and deploy. I use them in my various Offices for simple screen sharing during presentations during meetings.

Compared to the previous Microsoft Wireless Display adapter, they work really well with our Windows laptop (Surface Laptop specifically). I was able to wireless casting to the TV from 20ft away. Make sure you download the Wireless Display Adapter app to update the firmware and personalize it. I deducted one star because once in a while, it would take forever to connect to the adapter. I usually unplug the USB cable and reconnect when that happens.

Some TVs or projectors don’t have great native connection software. This is a great way to make every tv a smart tv.

Screen was distorted until updated firmware. No crazy lag. Perfect for protable display units as well.

Hand down the easiest and best way to connect your computer with a monitor/TV if you are trying to get rid of the cables. Instructions are indicated on the TV screen and are very simple. This item is on the expensive end considering that you can get a Chromecast for $40-50 less but then it requires to have Chrome. If you want to use an out-of-box adapter, this is the way to go.

It is extremely easy to connect your windows computer to it, and you can decide whether to mirror your screen or even extend your computer, so that you have basically 2 screens to work with. I’ve been using this device for years and work and finally decided to buy one for myself.

Great 4k Wireless Display Adapter!!!

I purchased a large screen for our conference room. The TV itself has a Bluetooth connectivity. However, it was capable of transmitting video and audio only. I did some research and saw Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter. This device perfectly fits my need. Our conference is clean and without any HDMI cable running around. This is a MUST own adapter if you want to maintain a 4K wirelessly.

The device works great. The problem is that no one asked me "hey - what kind of TV do you have?" The reality of it is that you likely do not need this device if your TV is a TCL or Samsung purchased in the last 12 months. Most of those TV have this service built into them. Had the tech that helped me with this purchase explained that to me, we could have saved a trip back to the store. :)
