Great Pc Controller

I’ve been using this red Microsoft controller on my PC for a while, and I really like it overall. It feels super comfortable to hold — the grip, button layout, and weight are all just right. The design looks great too, especially the color.
The only thing keeping it from five stars is the connection. Sometimes it takes a moment to sync or will randomly disconnect, which can get frustrating during gameplay. Aside from that, it performs really well on cable and feels great to use. Extra point for durability, it has endured couple years of fifa.
If you don’t mind an occasional connection hiccup over wireless , it’s definitely worth getting

Overview / First Impressions:
The Velocity Green edition arrives with the same form factor and internals as Microsoft’s recent Xbox wireless controllers, but the vivid green finish gives it personality. It feels like the “fun” version of a serious tool. The matte surface is pleasantly grippy, not slick. In the box: the controller itself, minimal documentation, and (usually) AA battery support — no rechargeable battery pack included by default.
What Works Well:
The shape is familiar (if you’ve used modern Xbox controllers), and it suits a wide range of hand sizes. Textured grips on the triggers, bumpers, and back case help during longer sessions — less slipping, better control. The hybrid D-pad feels responsive and precise (though not perfect), especially for fighting games or platformers. Xbox Wireless + Bluetooth — works seamlessly with Series X, S, older Xbox One systems, PC, and many cloud / mobile setups.
USB-C support is a welcome fallback (plug & play) when wireless isn’t ideal (e.g. for low latency). Headset jack (3.5 mm) is present, so you don’t lose out on audio / voice chat options. Microsoft claims up to 40 hours of usage under ideal conditions. That’s optimistic but realistic in lighter use. Because it uses AA batteries natively, you have flexibility (rechargeables, battery packs, etc.). The console doesn’t ship with a built-in rechargeable battery, so that’s both a plus (flexible) and a minus (extra cost if you want “plug-in” convenience). The Share button is a nice addition: you can snap screenshots or record clips depending on how you configure it. Using the Xbox Accessories app, you can remap buttons or create custom profiles. That gives you some power to tailor it to your playstyle. The bright Velocity Green finish looks bold without being garish.
Where It Falls Short:
Because it’s not modular (e.g. paddles or swappable components), it’s not as customizable as higher-end pro controllers. The 40-hour claim often assumes minimal vibration, moderate use. With heavy vibration and active lights, battery life shrinks. Some users might prefer a built-in recharge solution (USB-C only, internal battery) — here you're reliant on your own battery choices. The green finish, while eye-catching, might show scuffs or grime over time more than darker models.
Occasional minor input lag or connection drop in Bluetooth mode (especially in crowded wireless environments) — though for most users this won’t be a dealbreaker.
Verdict & Who It’s For:
If you want a reliable, stylish controller that works across Xbox, PC, and mobile, and you don’t need full pro-level modular customization, this is a very solid pick. The Velocity Green color gives it character without compromising function. I’d lean 4 out of 5 stars — one point off for trade-offs around battery and extreme customization. But in everyday use? It holds up well.

Review:
The Xbox Wireless Controller in the Stellar Shift Special Edition is an absolute game-changer. As a passionate gamer, I've had the pleasure of using various controllers, but none have quite captured my attention like this one.
First and foremost, the design is simply stunning. The Stellar Shift theme adds a touch of cosmic elegance to the controller, making it stand out from the crowd. The translucent blue finish with subtle accents creates a mesmerizing visual experience that immediately grabs attention.
In terms of performance, this controller truly excels. The responsiveness and precision of the buttons and triggers are unparalleled, providing a seamless gaming experience whether I'm navigating through intricate landscapes or engaging in intense combat scenarios. The textured grip on the back ensures a comfortable hold during extended gaming sessions, reducing fatigue and enhancing overall control.
Compatibility is another key highlight of this controller. Whether I'm playing on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, or even Windows devices, the Xbox Wireless Controller seamlessly connects and delivers exceptional performance across the board. The versatility of this controller ensures that no matter what platform I'm gaming on, I can always rely on its consistent performance.
Moreover, the inclusion of Bluetooth technology enhances connectivity options, allowing me to easily connect the controller to a wide range of devices without the need for additional adapters. This feature adds an extra layer of convenience and flexibility to my gaming setup.

From the moment I unboxed the “Microsoft - Xbox Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows Devices - Robot White,” I knew I was in for a treat. The sleek design and pristine Robot White finish immediately caught my eye, promising a stylish addition to my gaming setup.
As I held the controller in my hands, the comfort was undeniable. The ergonomic design fits perfectly, making long gaming sessions a breeze with no discomfort. The textured grip ensures the controller stays firmly in my grasp, even during the most intense moments.
Precision is key in gaming, and this controller doesn’t disappoint. The responsive thumbsticks and hybrid D-pad offer pinpoint accuracy, allowing me to execute every move with confidence. Whether I’m aiming down sights or navigating through complex menus, the controller’s precision enhances my gameplay.
The lightweight nature of the controller is another standout feature. It feels almost weightless in my hands, yet it doesn’t compromise on durability. I’ve own it since 2022 and it’s still as good as new – a testament to its durability.
One of my favorite features has to be the Xbox button. With a single press, I can access the Game Bar to take control of all my gaming activities.
Lastly, the battery life is impressive. I can game for hours on end without worrying about constant recharging, which is a huge plus for any gamer.
In conclusion, the Microsoft - Xbox Wireless Controller is a masterpiece of gaming technology. It’s a perfect blend of amazing aesthetics, comfort, precision, lightweight, design and durability. It’s not just a controller; it’s an extension of the gaming experience. A solid 5 out of 5 stars from me!

The grip is amazing and perfect for playing Fortnite. The color is phenomenal in person. My absolute favorite. It makes me wants to play my xbox a lot more because I can handle the game easier. Everything is just better to be honest. I cannot use the regular control anymore. Definitely worth it. I’ve gotten compliments from friends/family also.

Its a controller :) that's designed to work with all generations of Xbox one. Meaning Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as well as PC provided you have the adaptor or Bluetooth support built in. The Bluetooth works on any device that has Bluetooth built in. Laptop, tablet, phone and pc. The D Pad
has been redesignedd better for multi directional use (fighting games) instead of traditional up/down/left/right usage. Kinda shaped like a plate with edges. The actual size of the controller is a fraction smaller. Good for kids or if you have small hands. The bumpers/triggers and back of it are textured for a better grip instead of it being smooth. Bumpers are a matte black instead of glossy. Helps with long play sessions and sweaty hands. Has a built in 3.5mm headphone jack so you can plug in any headset and use them for game audio and chat, provided your headset has a mic. Also has a updated type C connector for charging and syncing instead of the outdated Micro USB so you can use more modern chargers. The battery pack is replaceable so you can buy a rechargeable battery pack or use rechargable AA batteries to save money and help the environment.
Now the reason for the title of my review.
There is a known issue as of writing this review. The issue is that the newer models of the controller have issues with random disconnects, buttons registering being pressed and so on. Microsoft knows about this and is working on a software fix for this. No known ETA as to when this will be fixed. My unit has no issues except for the A button not registering if I push it to fast. I'm sure this will be fixed in a near future software update. You can test button functions within the Xbox accessories app on the system to see if any buttons are having issues registering. This issue is worse in another unit that I purchased back in November. That unit has random disconnects with the system but says it's connected still. If your controller doesn't work right either take it back for a exchange WITHIN the standard 15 day policy or within the 2 year extended warranty (sold separately).
If you're going to buy the newer models just use caution and be prepared for possible issues. Otherwise the controllers are great in design, they work as intended and build quality is always solid with Microsofts 1st party products. I'd recommend buying the GSP (warranty). It covers you for 2 years, covers normal wear and tear and accidentally breaking it. So instead of paying another $60+ on a new controller, just take it to a local best buy and they'll swap it out for another one of the same unit or comparable or worst case scenario store credit. I've had all my controllers through best buy because of this warranty. Works great for hardcore gamers who go through 1 controller a year. I highly recommend it.

The control by himself is so cool, and he looks better in life. i
Been using it for a month and no drift, the grip is so good and the texture makes the gaming experience much better.
The price is a little bit high but if you see it with a discount just get it.

So like a dummy I didn't do my proper research when buying this controller. I got it to go along with my new gaming pc, after struggling to use Switch Pro controller and PS4 Dualshock on pc for years I finally gave in and decided to purchase a Microsoft controller so I would have no more connectivity issues. I really could not believe my eyes when I realized the Xbox controller still is not rechargeable. I only ever had a 360, and didn't mind the batteries too much at the time, but in modern times, when Sony and Nintendo have rechargeable controllers, even Google Stadia had them, there's no excuse why Xbox should not have them available. They're too rich a company not to have it as an option. Especially at the price range of these dang controllers? $50+ for no rechargeable battery?! Does MS own shares in Duracell or Energizer or something? I really don't get it, but oh well, that's my fault, I guess, for assuming... Still, I decided to keep the controller because it IS really well designed. I particularly like the textured grip thing on the back of it, feels very nice, and the letter buttons feel great as well, I find myself running my fingers over them for fun, they have a really great texture. I kinda feel like the right analog stick feels kinda big? Like it's hard to manouver sometimes or something... It's a fantastic controller but the batteries only lasting like 4 days for me? Is a big letdown. Who has money to be spending on batteries like that constantly, especially when you game as much as me. I use it mostly wired now which I hate because I switched from Pro Controller and Dualshock because I had issues with them if they weren't wired, I thought Xbox would be a better choice but I still have the same problem of annoying wires. I still use it wirelessly sometimes when I get fed up. I have mixed feelings about it. Xbox really needs to start making sense one of these years.
If you have problems setting it up with your windows pc like I did, you might need to update your wireless drivers, in my case Asus, and/or also update the controller by using the Xbox app on windows.

I've had this controller for around a month now and I love it. I haven't had any issues with it at all. The rubber grips on it are very helpful and the design looks even better in person.

This controller is spectacular, its stunning color and design leaves it with not a lot to be desired other than a working controller. These are packaged with nothing protecting the face of the controller, so theres no telling how many times along the way the controller was dropped, or pressed against something. Its resulted in me having to get a replacement not even a month after purchasing. I wish Microsoft would do better when it comes to delivering a solid working product to stores like best buy!

The Xbox controller is a great blend of comfort, precision, and durability. Its ergonomic design fits naturally in your hands, making long gaming sessions easy on the wrists. The buttons are responsive, the analog sticks feel smooth, and the textured grip adds a premium touch. It also works seamlessly across Xbox consoles and PCs. Whether you’re a casual or competitive gamer, this controller delivers excellent performance and reliability.

It works great, feels greater and was easy to find and buy.
Beautiful solid color, no product defects and I think it feels great on the grip.
Works beautifully on my Xbox and reminds me why I only have to buy a new one every so often. (If you like to customize them like I do, it’s also super easy to take apart and change parts.)

Awesome. Works better than my Elite 2 Controller, unfortunately. Nothing special, but it does the job i need it to! The color is sweet, too. I also use it with my PC and it works great. Switching between your paired devices is super easy; just double press the pair button inbetween the LB and RB buttons to swap between your paired console/pc.

Love this remote! It is translucent, which my kids love because they can see inside of it. It piques their curious minds. Its wireless, but cam be plugged in. None of the buttons or joysticks are sticky. Works flawlessly. Very easy to sync to the xbox

The iridescent purple is gorgeous! The rubber part on the underside of the grips is marbled purples, and that's a really nice touch. The rest of it is gray plastic. Works like every other Xbox controller otherwise. Haven't had any trouble connecting, and I put rechargeable batteries in them that can charge by just putting the controller in the charging base. That's why the battery door is black instead of gray in my pictures. The stock battery door matched the rest of the gray plastic.
I did add joystick cushions to help ease the strain on my thumbs because they are concave on top but pretty small, so without the cushions that bowl shape and/or the texture on the side of it really irritated my thumbs after half an hour or so of gameplay. The cushions made it much more comfortable for extended play. It also helped it stay cleaner. The dip on the joystick tends to hold dust and stuff and then is hard to wipe out without a qtip or something like that.

1. The only thing better than a working controller is a beautiful one. This pink delight manages both.
2. Function without flair is unforgivable; thankfully, this controller sins in neither direction.
3. It connects instantly, plays flawlessly, and looks fabulous—proof that utility need not be dreary.
4. Some controllers merely work; this one performs—with style.

This is the standard build xbox series controller with some slick DOOM: The Dark Ages themed touches, including learher-feeling grips on the handles, a lovely paint job, and a small easter egg inside the battery cover. A cool looking and great feeling controller.

Hands down best Xbox controller I’ve had and it looks really cool. Ended up buying two of them so I had a backup because eventually these will be sold out.
