It does what needs to be done and expected. I with i bought one with a special promotion like a weapon unlock or new gear like i got when i bought my subscription after the divison cane out.

I only bought it from Best Buy because it was 34 99 with my game was on lock Club. If not I would have bought it somewhere else so this thing does what it's supposed to do give me 12 months of extra Xbox Live and I just bought it at a great price of $34.99

Well it’s just as it is described in the details. If you want to play online then you need it. I will normally wait until these are for sale or if I have reward certificates. So if you wanna play online p2p then I suggest getting this. If your ok with not playing online p2p then I wouldn’t get it.

Unfortunately, in order to play online and get special content on various games, you have to have a membership. Would be nice if they reduced the price since you have to have it.

Xbox Live gold enables you to play online with your friends on the best online service available. If you buy your service 12 months at a time like I do it only averages out to $5 a month. You can't hardly beat that to play as much as you want, and don't forget you also get four free games a month that you can play anytime, as long as you are a gold member. A great value for Xbox gamers.
