What really needs to be said about this card? It's good for 3 months of Xbox Live Gold. It will pay for itself with the "free" Games With Gold content every month.

Its xbox Live... you buy it, activate it and use it. Its more expensive than what it needs to be, but not the fault of Best Buy.
