A must have for Xbox or u cannot play any games online

Most probably aren't surprised at what this offers if you are looking for the card but you will get access to the monthly list of free games and the ability to play with friends online who also have Xbox.

I think you know what you are getting, I just think that it is absurd to pay for LIVE when you already have internet.

Buying this card, and being able to figure out how to redeem the code on your xbox, entitles you to play xbox online with your friends for one year. This also entitles you to some free games each month with your membership, the games usually aren't great but they are free

A cheaper more convenient way to access x box live

You get your standard xbox live card. But with this you get a free hat and the hat was of good quality. I would have paided money for the hat but I appreciate the bundle making it free.

I guess it boils down to what you like to play, xbox or PS4. They both cost the same for the online play. Of course, I prefer PS4. This was for the daughter. LOL!

If you own an Xbox 360 or Xbox One, this card is a must-have. You need a Gold-level membership to play online, and not only is online multiplayer a component of most games, but some games require you to have Gold to even play them (i.e. Destiny). If you choose to subscribe to Gold on a month-to-month basis, you'll end up paying $10 a month, or $120/year. With this card, you'll only pay $60/year instead. As an added bonus, with your Gold membership, you'll get free games every month for both the 360 and One via the "Games with Gold" program. If you have a One, certain 360 games are backwards compatible and can also be played on the One, so this card will pay for itself after a just a month or two.

I was able to save some money on this purchase with Best Buy but if you are a huge Xbox Live user then it definitely helps to get the 12 months card so you don't have to worry about the monthly subscription.
