12 month gold is better than getting other subscriptions of Xbox live.playing online is great.

A must have for gamers to play online. Always buy the card gor my son. So much easier than buying the 3 or 6 month cards

Xbox live is one of the best ways to interact with people. I have met some of my best friends on Xbox Live and I can't wait to meet more.

I like using coded cards instead of a credit card for my Microsoft account. I can keep track of spending and put a throttle on my son's purchases. I do not prefer having my credit card on an account as "a blank check". Xbox has a strange method for entering the card number. I have to enter a purchase into the cart and only then see my account balance. If anyone knows the magic to finding the account balance a better way, I'd like to learn it.

Not much else to day except if you have XBOX you need the Gold service. It was on sale so it was perfect. Can't have an XBOX without it.

cancel your current membership first and then activate the new one. It doesn't automatically happen and I was charged an extra month at 9.99.
