12 month gold is better than getting other subscriptions of Xbox live.playing online is great.

A must have for gamers to play online. Always buy the card gor my son. So much easier than buying the 3 or 6 month cards

I usually purchase the 12 month subscription, you get a better rate and there’s numerous uses for the Xbox besides games.

Xbox live is one of the best ways to interact with people. I have met some of my best friends on Xbox Live and I can't wait to meet more.

I like using coded cards instead of a credit card for my Microsoft account. I can keep track of spending and put a throttle on my son's purchases. I do not prefer having my credit card on an account as "a blank check".
Xbox has a strange method for entering the card number. I have to enter a purchase into the cart and only then see my account balance. If anyone knows the magic to finding the account balance a better way, I'd like to learn it.
