Functions as advertised. Very much like the ability to charge with the solar panel or hand crank. Size is convenient to taking it on road trips.

First emergency radio of any kind. Many ways to use this device but the most practical is for a portable radio and for weather alerts. If you're in a place with hazardous weather, this can be useful to alert warnings like fire, heavy rain and wind, tornados, etc. Can also be used as a power bank but not recommended with it's small battery.

Reliable, works well, easy to use, lightweight, comfortable grip.

Small, light, and decent quality. It would get a five but the charge when the unit is off discharges too quickly. I check my go bag electronics monthly and this is almost completely discharged each time I check (done this twice). This does have solar and crank capabilities, so in a bug out situation there is opportunity to recharge. But it still should not discharge this fast when in the "off" position.

Excellent product. Works super well at all times. Even allows for charging a cell phone when power goes down during bad weather. Really a great product.

This little radio is awesome! Unfolding antenna picks up stations clearly from a large broadcast area. The light is bright and clear and strobes for emergency. Having a hand crank and solar options is really nice too.

I am quite pleased with the Midland Weather Alert Radio. It has the urgency of a NOAA Weather frequency combined with AM/FM radio for local, timely information. The portability of this radio is great!

Works perfect! Used during last hurricane. Sounded out the tornado alerts LOUDLY! Strong signal during the entire storm. Small enough to carry in jacket pocket to have on me at all times (though alerts were loud enough I probably did not need to).

I got this for my Dad who enjoys listening to weather radio. He has really enjoyed this weather alert radio. It works very well at informing when bad weather is approaching. It has been very useful.

Compact and easy to use. Seems to get a good signal, so far, but I've only tried it at home. I bought it to take on camping & kayak trips. I'm a little skeptical if how water resistant it's actually is.

A compact radio with weather station and handy torch. It can be powered by turning the crank which means that you can use it off the grid. Ideal for camping and as part of your emergency kit.

Bought it for emergency use and the occasional camping trip. Starts up nice and has not been charged once, it’s been on standby power for two months.

It's definitely smaller than I expected, especially for the price. But it functions well and I guess there is no need for it be any bigger. It's nice to be able to charge it by solar, crank, or plug in. The battery is commonly available too if you want to buy a backup.

I bought the last one in the Store before Hurricane Idalia. It works well.

We bought this to listen to the 49er drive-in theater off the highway. It worked great and would definitely recommend this product.
