    I received this item yesterday, and put my Apple Thunderbolt Display on top of it. Today - there're already 2 cracks starting on top, assuming from the weight of the monitor. The stand is made out of plastic, and does not seem to be sturdy at all, especially not for the intended purpose.

    This is not what I really wanted but I thought that I would give it a try. After waiting for it to be shipped to the store, I pick it up, get home with it, open the box to find that it did not come with the removable legs.
