Stopped charging device before completion

I've had this since June and have not used it much but when I do the thing stops charging my device. I can't say for sure how long it does charge but it isn't for very long. I know not just because the lights turn off on the charger but the symbol on the that shows it's charging goes off and in notifications it does not state anymore that the phone is being charged. Yes, the charger was completely charged itself. I have tried to return to Zagg through the 2 year warranty and every c.c. # i enter they tell me is wrong and to enter a different one. I've entered 3 and all info has been correct. Have to pay the shipping and handling.
