I loved the watch, very smooth, especially after the latest update, just disconnected from Google now too often so I had to return it. Waiting for for a better version.

The battery life was sub par compared to Samsung and apple watches. My watch stopped holding its charge about 12 months into ownership. I sent it back to motorola. by the time it was processed and in their system my warranty expired. I asked NICELY if they'd consider the circumstance and give me a break, They declined and returned the broken watch. In all fairness they were within their rights, but this experience has soured me and I wont buy anymore motorola products

For $250, this gadget has a great entry level price compared to Samsung and other similar devices but what caught my eye as a Samsung-techie, is that this is one of the first round screens. We are so used having our phones, computers, TVs and other gadgets having square or rectangle displays... that made me much more drawn to going with Motorola. And having it powered by Android, it was exciting to have the ability to personalize and customize through apps from the Google App store. I've sincerely enjoyed making my own custom watch faces and changing it on the fly, reads and sends texts, downloaded a calculator and all. The wireless charging makes this thing awesome! Not only that, wireless charging makes this water resistant! Some would argue the poor battery life, but I would have to disagree. This little bad boy can't last as long as the pebble, but the display is much more handsome in pixel density, color range, and brightness. And to add, I don't sleep with my wristwatches on either way... so, off it goes and charges every single night while I DO NOT worry about it dying on me throughout my day. I do have to say, after the first week, you lose the "Wow! I have a awesome electronic toy" factor but for the price and a techie, I do love my extension to my phone and look forward to wearing it every single day. And if you are a fitness junkie, this thing will definitely assist you with distance traveled via means of pedometer and calories burned via Moto Fit which reads heart rate and such. Just an awesome gadget for the price. I got mine open box for $217.99 or something like that. When in store, take it over to customer service and ask if they can open it so that you can inspect the condition. Mine looked brand new so I was happy to have saved $32 :)

First time owning a digital watch. Like it a lots.

This is probably the best looking smart watch on the market as of December 2014. It performs very smoothly and is really pretty handy. The design is probably the biggest reason to buy this android wear watch over other smart watches. The entire watch is made of stainless steel that looks and feels great. Watch has one button to power the watch on and off as well as turn the screen on and off. The band is genuine soft leather that feels good and looks pretty good but, it may be a little pain for some. The watch is advertised as using standard watch band but, that is not true, the watch requires special band with a small notch where they connect to the watch, which is probably one of my biggest complaints of the watch. The screen is pretty good but, not HD. It gets the job done. The little black sliver at the bottom of the screen really isn't that noticeable one you use the watch for a little while and is needed to hold the ambient light sensor which allows the watch to change brightness depending on the amount of light around you. The screen is gorilla glass, which is tough stuff but, sapphire would have been better. Android wear is really cool, it keeps me from pulling my phone out of my pocket as much and is fun to use.

First off let me get the battery issue out the way. I received my watch on Friday and as soon as I turned it on it prompted me to install the lastest update which addressed the battery issues. I haven't experienced any issues with battery (some reviewers claimed they couldnt make it through the day with moderate use). I took it off the charger at 9am and received moderate notifications and also showed it off to my friends. When I made it home I kept it on my wrist and went to sleep. I woke up the next day at 11am with 9% left. Now to the watch itself...........I love the Moto 360 because its look like a normal watch. The software isn't perfect but what is. Very seldom it stutters but its tolerable. I have experienced a couple of disconnects from my phone even with the lastest firmware but I dont know if has anything to do with the apps I installed. I say that because I didnt start to lose connection until I started downloading apps (it happened twice in 2 days). Other than that everything is okay. The navigation is easy to pick up on. The watch faces that come with the watch are pretty decent and there are a few apps in the market that let you customize even more. The build is excellent, the software is decent, and the battery is good. The watch allows you to decline or answer a call (you have to use the phone to talk), view and reply to emails and texts, full control over music thats playing on phone, adjust volume, toggle wifi, toggle ring/vib/sil, and much more. This by far is the best looking smartwatch on the market. Please remember that this is a first gen device and in my opinion is living up to the hype. Motorola has something and I pray that they continue to go in the right direction to make this the greatest line of smartwatches for years to come. For you guys that can't wait for Motorola to release their metal bands I purchased a Pebble stainless steel band and its look great with my Moto 360.

My Moto360 was ordered through Best Buy on Friday. It arrived on Monday after the weekend. I immediately tried to set it up and ran into the issue that caused another reviewer to claim the firmware was damaged. This is incorrect. What it needs to do (like any other device) is charge. It was my fault for wanting to play with it immediately. So I placed the device on the charger and it charged surprisingly fast. The other reviewers are correct that it charges at roughly 1% per minute. After it charged, it downloaded a software update. It would not allow this to take place earlier due to low battery and rightfully so. Initially, I noticed a fairly rapid drain. My guess is this was the device getting its software straight. However, after that battery loss became more acceptable. It made it through the day without a problem and still had about 30% left. That was with me sending test messages, playing with the heart rate monitor, using it to start music on my drive, trying out the navigation end, etc... The watch did everything and allowed me to check emails, texts, Facebook messages and more without having to pull my phone out of my pocket. I have an S5 and I didn't notice any extra drain on that devices battery either. Now I'm sure if you get 500 emails a day and 500 texts, etc... you may have difficulty getting through a day. But in my experience with normal use so far, the battery hasn't been the issue many people made it out to be. I took it off the charger and left for work about an hour and a half ago and I'm still at 93%. I love the watch so far and it doesn't hurt that it looks absolutely incredible. I look forward to future updates and functionality, but it was definitely worth the wait.

the battery life on this watch is not that great I only get about 6 hours a day.I love the watch but the battery life has me thinking that I shall return the watch to Best Buy.
