The design is very good and futuristic. You will be more handsome when you wear moto 360. This is the most handsome smart watch so far. But the hardware is not the best. The battery life is only around 1-1,5 day if you are not using it too much. The performance is also not very good, some time you will find the watch is not responsive. And the OS, Android Wear, is not mature yet. So if you want to look cool, Moto 360 is the best for you. But if you are looking for functionality, i think Pebble still the best option.

I told myself years ago that I would never buy a smart watch. I told myself that THAT'S where I drew my line in terms of tech.. then I saw the Moto360. It's not just a piece of the latest geek tech to have, but it compliments almost any outfit. Of course I will revert back to my traditional watches when I'm going to formal occasions, but as a daily driver, it's flawless. Battery lasts me a full day, and then some, no problem, although I must say it does heat up quicker than I'd hoped. If you are planning on going on a trip without an accessible charge port, this watch won't last you more than 24 hours, but for regular everyday use, it's magical. Pros: - Stylish and adaptable, blends with almost all outfits - Intuitive design, easy to use - Lightweight, it's lighter than most of my analogs - Right size, for me at least - Premium Materials, feels and looks high end - Very quick wireless charging Cons: - Definitely not a battery sipper due to the older internals - Heats up quickly with regular/heavy use - The glass is not sapphire glass, like on most analog watches, which are the best at resisting scratches - Poor launch experience... - Just a hunch, but I feel this device will be outdated in a matter of a few short months.

First - battery life. It's fine. The first day I was using the watch, learning about all the apps and capabilities. The battery was ready to charge by the time I went to bed. Every day after that, I used the watch in a more normal manner. I use it to text every now and then, check my heart rate, and have notifications turned on. I've consistently had around 30-40% charge remaining when I went to bed. I love the charging cradle. When you cradle the watch, it goes into this display that serves as an alarm clock and stays lit. This is way cool! I got rid of my big bulky alarm clock and now use only the 360. It's just the right brightness in the cradle - not too bright that it's distracting at night. No problem connecting to my Moto X. Phone and watch stay connected at decent distances. When you do walk too far from your phone, the watch automatically connects back when you get into range. When you mute the ringer on your phone, the watch will vibrate when you get a call. Another way cool feature. Sometimes I turn my ringer off when I'm in a meeting then forget to turn it back on. I used to miss calls, now I don't. Nice! Now, Best Buy's website for weeks has been saying "unavailable in your area" when I try to see if it's in a local store. I was in Best Buy last week looking at a monitor, and just on a whim went to look at smart watches. Lo and behold, they had TWO Stone Leather watches in stock, even though the website didn't indicate this. I recommend calling or checking in your local store - they may have one. I wanted the black band, but they only had stone. But, I LOVE THIS COLOR! It looks very sharp with the aluminum frame. When my leather band wears out or is looking dirty, I'll eventually get a metal band. But, I'm pleasantly surprised how good the stone leather band looks. I had a huge panic attack - I was stupid and clumsy and dropped my watch from above waist height on our porcelain tile floor, and it make a huge 'whack' sound. I thought for sure the face was cracked. It landed on the watch, not the bands. But, no damage, no adverse effects. Whew! So, it's pretty durable. The watch is pretty thick - sort of like my Ir0nm@n watch. So every now and then I bump it on something. I plan to get one of those military grade screen protectors and see how that works. Overall, VERY HAPPY. The round face makes this watch THE watch to get over anything else out there. It looks very stylish and fits right in with a suit and tie.

I have had the watch for a week now and like it more every day. It looks and feels amazing. lighter than I imagined and easy to navigate. AS Andrtoid wear takes off the apps and watch faces will grow, but I already like it more than my Pebble and Sony SM2. I did buy a Pebble Steele Stainless Steel band and put it on an now I love the look. The Qi charger is awesome addtion and it works with 2 other manufacturer QI chargers I own. Battery last more tan a day of use for me. but I haven't done a real battery test. I have chargers at home and work so the idea of going days seems to me a moot point.

I bought the Gear Live first and thought that the Android Wear experience would be the same. Then I read that the Moto 360 has an older CPU than Gear Live, and that maybe things would be more zippy on the Gear Live. Regardless, the Moto 360 looked better online so I decided to order it in addition to the Gear Live. Let me tell you this thus far: 1) Holy Moly! Not only is it infinitely more beautiful in real life compared to Gear Live, it is just beautiful on its own. I already got one compliment from a non-techie woman on the elevator. 2) The stone-color band is a new model. I received mine with the latest OS 4.4W.1 Build KGW42N, which fixes many of the issues others had when ordering the original colors. The hardware is the same, so if you receive an older firmware you MUST let it charge completely and it will update. The update will fix the way the screen operates so battery will be better. 3) I was wrong about the CPU and possibility of being slower than Gear Live. I don't know if it is something Samsung did or what Moto knows, but the Moto 360 is immediate and responsive to my commands to open apps. Gear Live stutters and makes the experience useless. Now I hear that Moto will soon release a new update with the same version, but higher build #. This could further improve battery and performance. 4) The heart rate sensor hasn't failed me once. The Gear Live is hit or miss (mostly miss). 5) I read somewhere that you should let it go through several 0-100% charge/discharge cycles. Over about a week, the battery will improve dramatically. 6) I love the watchfaces that Moto has included, and can be customized from your phone. In fact, the app reports battery level of the watch so you know even when it is charging in its dock, but not in front of it to see status. 7) I am proud of Moto for a knockout 1st gen device that actually works, is beautiful, and was released before the fugly-square Apple Watch. Thanks! Now let's see what you can do in version 2!

Some of the review I read was awful, AND IT WAS BEFORE THIS CAME OUT! But Seriously they were ALL wrong. They said battery last only three hours. I used it all day and at 9PM it was still at 48% and I was showing it off all day long. The watch runs smooth and no glitches. It looks and feels like a watch. Once again...GREAT JOB Motorola!!

Mine did a software update out of the box, so I never experienced the battery issue anyone is talking about. I've yet to run this watch out of battery in one day, and have done international flights with it where I've gone well over a day without charge and had plenty of power left. I use it with a Nexus 5 if that makes any difference. I have at least one person stop me everyday to ask about it, so I do fair amount of demoing, and use it regularly, so I'm not babying the batter.

I have reserved my opinion until I had this for a week and I can say my initial excitement hasn't really worn off. I suppose I had lower expectations because of the battery life comments, but I get up at 6am go to work and put it on the charger around 11pm and have 40% of my battery left. Consistently. Sure I would love to not charge the battery more than once a week, but it gets me through my day using it for notifications, time checks and voice reply. It isn't a drain on my phone either. I've found it to actually conserve my phone battery (s5 Galaxy) because I'm not using the display as much. The negatives include the large face. I put it on my wife and it screams, "Hey tiny wrist. I look enormous on you." Also, I have noticed the heart rate monitor is inconsistent or I have HUGE fluctuations when walking within seconds of readings. When I'm sitting or standing still the reading seems much more reliable. In my opinion this is a huge step for Android Wear. I haven't been interested in any previous smart watches and had a difficult time justifying why I would need one. The 360 look got me over that wall and now that I've had it I'm not sure I would want to go without again.

I've been playing with my new Moto 360 non-stop for a day now. I'm not finding TOO much I don't like about it so far. Like many of the reviews, the battery does drain fairly quickly, but I think that once you get past the "wow factor" and stop playing with it constantly, your battery drainage will be better. I love this thing. I'm not all that disappointed with the battery life yet either. I've had it on for 8 hours so far today and I'm only down to 53% battery. That's manageable in my book. I wish the band was designed a bit differently so that it wouldn't -appear- to be thicker than it really is, but I'm sure Motorola had their reasons. My BIGGEST gripe it this: I am not at all impressed with the "OK Google" voice functionality. Oddly, I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, so perhaps it's just operator error. OFTEN (not ALL the time though) when I either say "OK Google" or tap the screen, the watch gives me a VERY small fraction of a second to start talking before the "hint screen" comes up. I do not WANT the hint screen to come up. When it DOES, you have to manually touch the watch to dismiss it. You cannot say "back" or "exit" to get back to the clock face or back to voice entry. Motorola, since I can see that you've been reading these posts, I'd really like to see the option of turning off automatic "hints" during voice command. (Thanks for listening!) Aside from that, this really is an impressive watch. It's obviously not perfect but, for a first-generation product, it is pretty solid.

I owned this watch for approximately 2 month and I love, it is best android smartwatch out there not only because it work awesome but it looks beautiful. The initial software right out the box was not the best but it got better over time with updates. Battery life was the issue for a lot of people, and to be honest it was not that bad it will last at least over 8hrs without a need to be charged. After the 2 updates battery life has gotten better I tested it and last me 26hrs and still had 18% battery left. The battery charge will drain fast depending on the watch face, the more complex the face the faster it will drain, the simplest will last you longer such as the stock watchfaces. This watch has a heart rate sensor is hit and missed sometimes you’ll may have to run it twice due to bad reading, most of the time you’ll get it on the first read if you wear it tight. The sensor on the front of the watch is dam accurate if you have the ambient screen off the watch will turn on when you twist your wrist to look at the time. This watch does not have a speaker like the gear watch so you cannot have a phone conversation on the watch, but it does have a mic for voice commands. The voice command is really good and accurate due to it uses Google’s voice and the internet from your phone. You can use the mic to reply to text messages or other voice feature such as voice search or call someone. Another neat feature of the watch is the wireless charging and how fast it does it, just let it sit on the charger and you’ll be set in about hour or so depending how low the battery level. If you use Google now you will love this all your now cards are sent to the watch. Overall this watch is awesome and looks beautiful despite the small black line at the bottom of the watch where one of the sensor is located over time you will forget that is there. This watch is very customizable including the watch band I have the pebble metal band with it, and with the Facer app and Facerepo.com you can have a watchface for any occasion or styles.

I already like the smart watch concept, and 360 in general, with the way android wear is envisioning it seems very promising. I already really like my Moto 360. If I lose it I will be buying another one instead of upgrading m phone. That's how much I like the android wear concept. The battery life is good enough for android wear concept, however 30-40% more juice would have been better, because with the current Moto 360 battery life you will get into trouble for the days you will be using the watch heavier, for instance for its navigation capability. Android wear should improve too. At the moment there is no useful third party apps, except the Lyft app and the mini launcher. Hope android would get its own stock launcher in its upcoming releases. Also I wish the heart rate monitor app would have had better use for its data. Not sure how accurate and constant moto 360 gathers your heart rate data either. If it actually does gather the heart rate data, it would make sense for google fit app to also tell you how much calories you've burnt as a function of your heart rate and steps taken, that's how the upcoming Apple watch is going to do that. It would also make sense to add a battery saver mode on the watch, which would stop the heart monitoring and notifications pop ups when your battery is low, so your watch can get a couple of more hours of juice to show you the time.

I have had my watch 24 hours now. Battery is at 22 percent and still going strong. Easy to operate PDF online has all the instructions , really very simple. today I had three or four people asked me about it they all seem to be impressed liked the look.

I bought this a few days ago and wanted to test it out before I actually made a review. I have the stainless steel with gray band. The watch looks amazing. The screen of descent quality. The interface of Android Wear seems to be fine. Its responsive. It works well when it works. The issues I have with it start with what everyone is having issues with, the battery is horrible. It last barely 11-12 hours in the day with light use. If you actually use it then you're gonna get less. maybe 8-10 hours of use. Now with that said the little battery charges pretty quick. With in an hour to and hour and half its back up to full charge. Which is great but I don't want to have to charge it before my day ends. The charger isn't that bulky to take with me but I really don't want to have to take it with me. As far as everyday use. It disconnects about 3-7 times a day. Which at times can be a little annoying. But the voice commands work well. People complained about it turning on when you move around. I see it do this every once in a while but not that often. I even took to the gym and I didn't see it turn once. During other stuff like in class or at work, i didn't really have this issue either. The watch is lightweight and feels great on my wrist. Its just having any other watch on. I think the light sensor could work a little better. It doesn't register as quickly as it should. I think it also needs an option to only turn on with the push of the button. This would definitely save on battery life. Honestly, I think Motorola probably could easily have a update tweak that could fix this battery issue. If it could be pushed out till like 16 hours of battery life then it would be fine. I could get through the day and be fine. Would I recommend everyone to get one? No. If you in the market to get a smart watch anyways, yes it definitely a good choice. It just needs some fixes to address the battery and connection issues then this would be THE watch to get. Come Motorola I know you have to have something up your sleeve your working on to bump it up a little that's all we're asking!

I've been following this watch for some time, and after the initial reviews I was hesitant about the battery life. However, after using this watch for some time now, I'm convinced that it's a good bet for what is still a very new field of devices. Also, with the update released recently (9/26/14), the battery life and responsiveness have both increased tremendously. The watch works well with notifications, and it's generally unobtrusive. Also, I was worried about this watch being huge from other reviews, but holding it up to my old watch, I found it to be pretty reasonably sized. I wear cuffed shirts for work on a regular basis,and it fits under my sleeves now problem. Pros: -Very lightweight -Battery can now last well over a day of moderate use. If you use it heavily, it should make it well over a work day, and likely 10-12 hours. -Very responsive after update, and I'm noticing no lag. -The voice recognition was great, and I've found myself using my watch to respond to texts. Cons: -Battery isn't like a pebble, so you should charge it every night, maybe two. -Notifications seem to be tied to cards on google now, so if you dismiss them from your watch, you won't see the update on your phone within an hour or so, depending on what it is. -Face support. Facer is an excellent app for finding new watch faces, but there are only 10 faces or so stock. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone interested in a smartwatch. It is a beautiful piece of hardware that functions as a timepiece and an adjunct to your smartphone.

I wasn't sure that i would like it before i bought it. Even after the purchase i was thinking i would return it. After a few days i put on one of my other watches and found myself looking at it when my phone would go off. I found that i used it a lot more than i let myself believe. With that being said it is now the only watch i wear, unless going to a formal event. I keep my phone on silent so it wont bother anyone and the watch will vibrate when something comes through. As a plus it measures your heart rate and steps throughout the day. This is hands down one of the coolest and most productive things i have bought for my phone. People will either be amazed or laugh at you :) It no longer bothers me either way now.

Bought the Moto360 because its a good looking watch. Coming from a Samsung Gear 2 Neo, I thought I would get the same functionality out of it. I was wrong. Android Wear is a step backwards. Turns the watch into just a notification center. Thats it...... really??? No speaker phone, calculator, Dialer, Remote, Find my device calling.......etc. Not worth the price for Android Wear.

The Moto 360 is a must have for every techie. Not only is Android Wear pretty sweet, but it's very functional. I love the look of the Moto 360 and it's very easy to set up. I've been getting nothing but compliments on it. It's a bit bulky, but after about 20 minutes, I got used to it. What I will warn everyone is that the gray band in the picture is much darker than what it is up close. From a distance, the gray band looks like a light blue. If you're debating on getting this watch, stop debating and call a store ASAP to find out when the next shipment may be. Also, when you first get it, you need to charge it before you do anything.

An amazing watch that is stunning in design, visually pleasing to look at with a great display, makes me want to look at the time again and again even when I didn't have to. After years of using a smartphone as a primary watch I carry, this little gem retires my phone off of the duty and deserves a spot in my wrist any day. Many has criticized this watch for it's battery life. In my experience, it has been lasting a whole day, at least the 16 hours during the day that I am awake to play with it. The rest of the 8 hours, I am glad to use this watch in my night stand as a bed time watch where it charges on it's practical, yet functional wireless charger. Kudos to Motorola on that. Many of us geeks have concerns about the older TI processor within. However I can assure you that it does not matter as long as the watch functions its day to day tasks as intended in a fast and fluid motion. I have not encountered any hiccups thus far. Moreover, the Snapdragon 400 powered watches haven't proved to have much better battery life in contrast either. Thus, it is my opinion that one should not base their purchase of this watch on that perspective alone. Leather strap has been comfortable in my above medium sized hand, and it does not weigh a ton in my hand either. If you adore a beautiful time piece in your wrist, that can display time and do much more, this is the smart-watch that you have been waiting for.

This watch is great. It is beautiful to look at, I have not received as many comments on how nice my watch is as I have with the 360. These comments have mostly been from people that have no idea what the watch is just on the looks alone. The usefulness is great for me, I work in a job where I cannot use my phone or even look at it while working except on breaks, this is great for allowing me to see what is urgent and what is not. As I wear the watch everyday I see more and more uses for it. The watch has so much potential, and I believe that it looks much better and works much nicer than the yet to be released Apple watch. This is the best smart watch out there, better than the pebble by 10 fold and better than any of the other Wear based watches out there. The leather band is comfortable and looks good,the heart rate sensor is nice to have. I highly recommend this watch to anyone. It looks good on both men and women big and small, it is very much the same size as a full size traditional watch.

Bought my moto 360 threw motorola, but just had to place review here so someone that's thinking of getting one can see. I am very happy with it, and bought the pebble steel watchband for it at Best Buy fits greate! Battery is great with the new update. Note: tip & trick If you want to turn off the night clock that appears while charging your watch to prevent possible screen burn-in, do the following: Before placing the watch on the charger, go to the android wear app on your phone, click settings, and make sure the ambient screen mode is checked on, now place the watch on the charger and wait till the clock dims, once the clock dims uncheck the ambient screen setting and the watch face will turn off. Have fun with your new watch. The only reason I gave it four stars is because android wear is still new and I'm sure version 2.0 coming soon will give an even better user experience.
