The watch looks really good. The metal and leather feel very expensive. It is comfortable to wear all day since it feels very light. The battery life is fine despite what you have heard. I get light to medium number of notification a day and I use it from 7am to 10pm. At the end of the day I have 25-30% left of battery. Be aware of apps you install. I did install a watch face from google play that kill my battery in 6 hours one day. Battery life went back to normal as soon as I uninstalled it. I had a gear live before, and round face it so much nicer looking, the screen feels very spacious.

I have had the Moto 360 for one week and it what I was hoping for. It sounds like a minor thing, but being about to see a text message or who is calling without pulling your phone out is very nice. The battery life is good if you remember that it is not meant to be a replacement for your cell phone. I use it to check notifications and the time. Putting it on at 7 AM and taking it off at 9 PM I routinely have 60-70% left on the battery. I know people want the battery to last a week, but I have used watches that I had to wind everyday, so charging one everyday is not problem. It is a large watch, but no larger than the one it replaced. It works great and looks great.

Calling a "Wearable Device", a watch, is a big mistake, for now. The big question is, was dressing a "wearable device" up like a watch, really a smart idea? Yes and no. They have taken the idea of a wearable and added a wrist band that looks like a watch. they've added a display similar to a watch. So they call it a watch! The consumer hears the word watch, sees the wearable as being a watch, so they are going to treat this invention as what its called, a watch. The problem is, during most of human history, watches have been able to last for months with out a battery being replaced. With these wearables today, the battery life, if your lucky, might last a day. That’s unacceptable. As a result, reports of bad battery life flood the reviews and tarnish an otherwise great idea. So, what can we do? Well, until these "wearables" have the battery life to be worthy of being called a "watch", you treat it like a wearable and not a watch. Power management here is the key. most people with cellphones stopped using watches anyways, so turn off your "wearable watch" when you know that you don’t mind reaching into your pocket to look at the time. other times to turn off your watch could be in situations such as, -car rides longer than 10 minutes. most cars have clocks and it’s the same to look at a watch as it is to look at a phone in a car. -sitting for a long time in front of a computer. -in public places where you know the time can be seen easily. -at home, or in front of the tv (with cable) The key here is to think wisely and be creative. if you are the type that needs a digital smartwatch to replace a "real watch" then these "wearable watch lookalikes" just aren't for you at this time. But if you are like me, and can remember to quickly turn off the device and on when you need it, then its possible to get at least a full real 24 hours out of the latest and greatest, or even longer. anyways, there are some really great watch faces, 3rd party apps.

This is the best smart watch that has been released yet, the battery life is more than 12 hours as long as you don't use it constantly!

first off i love this watch, it is useful the downside that i am having is have with normal use my watch has gone from 100% battery to 60% in 3 hours. i work 12 hour days and the watch doesn't last through the work day, even after the system update.

I wanted this watch from the first rumors of it coming out. I use it every day. With the update the battery life easily allows me to make it through the day. It will have a bit of a lag now and then. But, not enough to be annoying. This is truly the best smart watch at this moment and with updates from Google and Motorola will only get better. I will say that smart watches, being in their infancy are not for everyone. But, for those who are into tech items, this is currently the watch to buy.

I've had the watch about a month now. Pros: It makes a nice dress/indoor watch. The large face makes it easy to read text messages sent to you. Cons: Having to charge it daily is inconvenient at times. The battery goes down fairly quick the more functions that are invoked on it - although you can still get 9-10 hours out of it. It is hard to read the watch when outside - you pretty much have to shade the dial on a sunny day. It needs to have additional screens with the app. There isn't anyway to bring up weather/other functions other than speaking. I would like to see a right or bottom swipe from the face bring up a menu and at least one screen that pins the weather.

Well, I had the LG G watch and the Gear Live. I returned the LG because it didnt fit well, and I got the Gear Live because the curved frame fit my wrist perfectly. But I returned that because the battery life was extremely sub par. I read alot about how the battery on the 360 was supposed to be an all day laster. So I finally got my hands on one, and yep, nowhere near. It seems very tempermental at best. Yesterday it was at 97% at 4pm, buy 11pm it was still at 65%. The day prior to that, I had to charge it twice. Why Motorola decided to toss in the ancient TI Omap 3 processor I will never know, but its not known for being very power efficient. Yes its a pretty decent looking watch, and yes it seems to sell out as soon as sites post it as being available, but with most apps not updated to support the circular face, the sub par battery, the numerous complaints of dead pixels (search the net, personally I have a SINGLE dead pixel, and it annoys me, but I also know that exchanging it isnt an option since there are none to swap out,plus I might get one that's worse), I bought into all the hype surrounding the 360, and I bought into it hard! But in the end, its somewhat of a disappointment, and I would wait till the next iteration of watches to make an appearance.

As someone else pointed out, I don't understand complaints about battery life. Once the first day of excessive use is behind, battery lasts for 14 hours on single charge. I was (and still am) concerned about OMAP3, but frankly I don't feel any performance lags sofar. Very easy to setup (Nexus 5), all notifications are pushed promptly. Nice to see incoming text messages without pulling the phone out of the pocket. Voice recognition works great.

Like many others, I have been waiting for this device since the day it was announced. I managed to be one of the lucky ones to get my hands on one in the first week. My first day, the battery died before dinner, largely due to updates and playing with it. I am now seeing a 6AM-9PM usage with mid-30s % of battery life left when it goes in the charger. Would I like more, Yes. I (like others) blame this on the 'old' processor and small battery. I was initially disappointed on the interface with the Samsung Messaging app on my Galaxy S4, but once I updated and activated Hangouts, I have seeing and receiving SMS messages better. If you are not a fan of Google Apps and Services, you may see some operational challenges with 3rd party email/messaging apps, but that is to be expected at this stage. The Stone Grey Horween Leather Watch band is gorgeous, but it is also like a SPONGE. I live in Florida and my first day of wearing it outside, the leather was discolored and stained due to sweat. I have substituted it with a Pebble Steel Band and it was well worth the $20. There are no available accessories (Bands/Cases or additional chargers available to purchase anywhere. PLEASE OFFER THEM ASAP. The battery life could be better, but the watch is nearly everything else I hoped it could be. I am looking forward to where the new 'Wearables War" is going to take us and what the Moto 360 2.0 will become.

Probably the best smartwatch on the market. This watch is awesome! Also, it has the best design I have very seen on a smartwatch. I can't believe it took people this long to figure out that smartwatches should be round! This is just so amazing, although Android Wear is sort of a BETA, well that means it will get even better! I love this watch, it is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me a simple style, with awesome battery life, thanks to the latest update for the Moto 360. I've gone a couple of days without having to charge my 360 with the ambient setting off. I'm sure with the setting turned on the battery life will be a couple hours lower. Nice clarity for the screen size and it simply does what I need it to do, tell me the time and give me notifications. Got an mini dialer app downloaded to my phone just in case that rare moment comes up where I need to dial someone from my watch instead of pulling my phone out.

Genuinely impressed with this purchase. Beautiful watch, with great battery life after the much talked about patch. I can easy wear it all day and come home with 65 - 70 percent still remaining, and in a pinch it will last overnight! Pedometer and heart rate monitor are excellent, and more apps seem to be updating frequently to send notifications to Android Wear. Only real downside I've found so far, is no apps currently pull the pedometer and heart rate info from the watch.

I purchased two of these watches. One for my husband and one for me My husband has the stone one and he loves it. It looks very sleek and rugged at the same time. Def a great purchase for the price.

I've had my 360 for about 2 weeks, and I love it. It looks great, has a lot of features and now last about 2 days.

I've had my Moto 360 for two weeks now and have used it in a variety of circumstances including business travel with extra long days. The watch is beautiful (it frequently gets positive comments in a business setting) and even the early implementation of Android Wear provides a very useful stream of notifications. The UI doesn't try to go overboard on functionality, but the interaction that is available (respond to a text, swipe for more details, etc.) is well executed. Motorola has taken some criticism for using an older CPU in this device, but my sense as a heavy user is that they made the correct tradeoffs between processor, screen, and build/materials quality. For a device like this to work, it needs to look great and work smoothly. It does not need to be a supercomputer. I have no complaints about speed or battery life and the look means that I can benefit from the features of this watch in a professional setting and actually enjoy wearing it. There's also a lot of up-side to functionality since Android Wear is early in development and new versions roll out to all devices over the air (you don't need to wait for each manufacturer to provide their own updates). If you want a first generation Android smartwatch, you can buy this one with confidence.

Dont trust the reviews that are saying that his watch only gets 8 hrs of battery life. i've been getting about 20, to 24, easily with at least 20-30% to spare. buy this with the pebble steel band, and you have one awesome looking watch. only complaint is i think the leather strap it comes with is super ugly.

Compared to other similar products, I really like this watch for those features it has. Apple watch is a good one, but the price is too high for me.

This is worth every penny I've spent on it! I travel a lot for work and the real value for this comes to me with turn-by-turn notifications while I'm on the road. Instead of looking around for my phone to see where I need to turn, or turning down the radio, my wrist simply buzzes and shows me my next turn. Very awesome feature that works for anything navigation related. The voice to text is very nice on this watch as well and I can read and send out messages without a problem.The leather band is high quality and the customizing options for the watch are endless (I currently have a Ghostbusters watch face for Halloween)

I've always used Motorola products and enjoy their industrial quality and craftsmenship. This watch is no different. Quality product. The custom watch faces are really cool and the battery is amazing. At the end of the day, I still have 65-70% less, which is great because the watch recharges is 20-30 min. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
