Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Moto 360 Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel's long battery life, stylish design, and useful notifications. They appreciate that it is easy to use and offers a variety of watch faces to choose from. However, some customers have concerns about its durability, display quality, connectivity issues, heart rate monitor accuracy, and its size being too large for smaller wrists.

I'm very fond of this watch

i would give it 5 stars if the battery life was just a little bit better. But on the whole, I like this watch a lot. I bought it to replace a Polar M400 and Pebble Steel. I got tired of wearing two watches, one to track steps and my workouts and the other for smartphone notifications and weather on my wrist. The Moto 360 isn't great at heart rate on its own, but there are a few apps that have Android Wear components so I can see calories burned and heart rate from my bluetooth heart rate monitor while I work out. And with the Jawbone Up app and Google Fit, I can keep track of my steps. And the weather options are more robust than what I had on the Pebble, not to mention the app scene in general is better for Android Wear and is improving constantly. A great purchase and I look forward to the next generation with hopefully improved battery life although I acknowledge the 5 day battery life on the Pebble and the 30 day battery life on the Polar totally spoiled me. I use the watch for sleep tracking, so I have to charge it at least twice daily (after workouts and before going to bed).

I wasn't sure if a smart watch was for me, they are not for everyone. However, after wearing the Moto 360 for a couple of days I realized that I really liked it. As an I.T. Consultant I am constantly checking my phone for emails and text messages... No longer with the Moto 360. I can see in seconds on the watch if the message is important and who it is from. The battery life is great, I can get about two days on a charge. The best part is the watch looks great and the changeable watch faces, with FACER app, are awesome.

The Moto360 is a nice smart watch to have, it really keeps my hands free when I'm busy doing things or I have my focus on other tasks and I can't reach for my phone. I can just read text from my phone on my Moto360 and then reply from there. I was surprised the watch picked up my voice very well, I can use an inside voice at about a foot away and the smart watch can pick up my voice. At first I thought I would have to be shouting at my wrist like a fool to get anything. Battery life is okay-ish... Frequent usage of the watch will drain it in one day or less depending on how often and what you're using it for, but if you leave it on in standby you can get around two days of battery life. The only downside to this watch is that I sometimes get an error when trying to read my blood pressure and then I have to readjust my watch, there isn't a camera, there's no sound, and if your watch happens to drain out of battery life when you're out doing things you can't do anything about it unless you happen to be carrying around the unique charger for the Moto360.

    Beautiful Watch with Limited Functionality

I purchased the Moto 360 just over a month ago, and I at least didn't feel compelled to return it within the return window - there have been other products where I did; it simply wasn't useful enough to me. That being said, I think the Moto 360 is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to current functionality. Let me start off with the good parts. The watch itself is definitely a looker, and is well-constructed. While I did somehow manage to get a scratch on it in the first week, I haven't managed any since. I'll consider it a one-off fluke. The band, while not of the highest quality, is comfortable and holds up pretty well with my day-to-day antics. The battery life is pretty good (I'm generally at around 60% remaining after 12+ hours off the charger), and performance is suitably snappy. Now to the not-so-great: The screen isn't of the highest resolution, and it is easy to pick out pixels, especially when we're getting used to very high resolution phone displays. Moreover, the thing that makes me feel most ambivalent about this watch (and is not so much a knock on the watch as it is on Android Wear, the core OS) is the lack of functionality. Sure, being able to respond to text via voice on your watch makes you feel like James Bond initially, but the novelty eventually wears off. It's great for tracking your Google Now notifications, but those aren't always the most useful or productive. Some Android Apps have been customized to have additional Wear functionality, while others simply pull the notification from your phone. It's all convenient in practice, if not a little underwhelming. Having more Wear-optimized apps will be a great start. Even better would be adding a method of typing (I'm thinking Minuum would work here) or using set quick responses from the watch to respond to texts. There is a lot of promise in the Moto 360 and Android Wear, it just has yet to be tapped. While the experience isn't abysmal enough for me to try and ditch the watch, it's not necessarily compelling enough for me to give an outright recommendation. I would say if you want to be on the cutting edge with a cool gadget with tons of potential, give it a shot. Otherwise, you might be better suited waiting for a newer model with a better screen and more functionality, as I'm sure will eventually happen.

If you are an android user and are looking at trying the smartwatch thing than this is the only one to consider. It is the most stylish and well designed smartwatch currently on the market. There were earlier concerns with battery life but with recent updates those concerns have been put to rest. The only thing to mention is that the picture shows a gray almost rugged style leather or suede looking band. The band on the later models, while 100% leather, is almost purple looking and kind of shiny instead of rough. That is about the only grip I have. The device is easy to use and very functional, NOT just a toy or gimmick. You will find yourself missing the device if you wear another "regular" watch or just decide to go without for even a day.

I got this watch for the fuctions and style. I have really enjoyed my watch. While in a meeting I can check who is calling or texting without making a big production of taking out my phone, unlocking it and then seeing who is try to get ahold of me. Quick look and i am back tot the meeting.

When I purchased this I was going to test drive it and take it back based on the reported poor battery life, but the middle of my first week of ownership the update was pushed... game changer. I kept the watch and couldn't be more pleased with it... check out reddit.com/facer and reddit.com/moto360 for the whole community experience. The support for this watch has blown up and love for it has been the reciprocal. Amazing device - lots of daily value add in having cards, texts, calls, email notifiers pop up on your wrist. Leave your phone in your pocket on silent or vibrate and you can prioritize your need to pull it out. Paired with a Note 2 and I notice 0 difference in battery life. Can't wait to sync it to the Note Edge when it arrives.

The new software update brought a lot of useful tweaks but the battery life is still meh and it tends to lag behind more than ever. Basically people should wait for the second one unless they really like the price like I did. Overall I like the watch. It looks gorgeous and is pretty useful.

I never would have thought I'd enjoy wearing a watch again, but the moto 360 changed my mind. After a few bumpy updates, this watch works great and easily get over a days worth of battery. At the new price point, it's definitely worth a try if you are considering the wearable market

I HAVE OWNED THIS WATCH FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW AND ABSOLUTELY DIG IT! IT'S TRENDY, COOL, AND MODERN. I LIKE THAT I CAN VIEW WHO'S CALLING, VIEW MSGS, NAVIGATE AND CHANGE MY MUSIC SELECTION FROM MY WRIST. NO MORE HAVING TO PULL MY PHONE OUT OF MY POCKET. THAT IS COOL. AND NOW I NEVER FORGET MY PHONE WHEN LEAVING HOME. BECAUSE THE PEAR APP REMINDS ME. WHATS'S REALL COOL IS THAT I CAN EVEN SEND TEXTS USING VOICE COMMANDS WHICH IS NICE WHILE DRIVING. IT'S TOTALLY AWESOME MOTO 360. i LIKE IT EVEN BETTER THAN MY FRIENDS iWATCH. THINKING OF IS TO UPGRADING TO A METAL BAND AND I'M ALL SET. I HOPE THAT ANY FUTURE UPGRADES TO THE SOFTWARE CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THIS ALREADY AWESOME SMART WATCH..

The Moto 360 is a very sleek and stylish smartwatch that can be very useful when paired to a smartphone. It is very quick and responsive and battery life tends to be around 2 days with normal use. I love seeing all my notifications on my watch without taking out my phone. I would recommend this watch .

Lets face it, these are still gadgets. However when the wifi gets turned on and you don't need your phone within range it could be a game changer for this device. Also charging is quick and easy but not so great needing to do it daily. I can probably get 2 days out of a charge if I wanted to but pushing it and not having the handy watch, well that's an issue. I recommend getting a Qi charger for your desk at work or wherever you may need it as a backup. It does look good, the leather band is nice. However the $80 for the metal band is a bit of a joke. In a generation or two these will be a lot more useful but right now unless you get it on sale like I did I would say hold off the Moto watch 2 to see what new additions it has.

I love the watch , it has a great look and feel to it. Overall the watch offers many features , i do wish it came with a few more like the camera or be able to use watch as a stand alone phone or actual ringtones... Other than those few things i really dig the watch.

Great looking watch and functions; however the android wear app is required to always be running on iOS device and cannot change the face as you can on an Android device - hope in time the iOS integration can improve and make AndroidWear a good option for iOS

The Moto 360 is an excellent add-on to my smartphone. It allows me to quickly check incoming notifications discretely when pulling out a smartphone isn't appropriate. Getting gate changes on my watch for my last flight connection was a real convenience, or that emergency text when I was in the middle of a meeting. Battery life is good (always lasted a full day), and improves with each update (2 so far). The leather band is comfortable, the watch is light and comfortable. Many useful apps and literally more each day.

I bought this as an early birthday present. I've heard a lot about wearables so I thought at the sale price it would be a nice experiment. I have to say it's actually more useful to me than I expected. I thought it it be a toy but I find it great to be driving and just see the navigation on my wrist, control music and see what notifications are coming up. It does drain the phone battery a bit with bluetooth on but I'm excited for the wifi update and maybe a few bug fixes as well.. The only really annoying bug is that sometimes I touch the screen to do something like check heart rate and it will not open the app until the phone goes back to sleep and I reopen but it is a first gen device.
