Let me start by saying that this manufacturer has produced some of the best equipment I've ever owned, from radios, to analog /digital cellphones, and more recently wearables. In fact, I waited months to buy this device in hopes it would be the only gadget I'd carry with me while running or when going to the gym. Unfortunately, I guess I was expecting an updated MOTOACTV (a device I considered to be way ahead of its time when first released), and not just another notification/activity tracker/GPS like the hundreds you find on the store shelves these days. The main problem is that the 360 Sport falls somewhere between a common notification device and a true fitness/activity tracker unit. In other words, it's neither a beautiful wristwatch like the 360 (2nd generation), nor a dedicated/reliable running/fitness gadget like the MOTOACTV was. What I wanted was the 360 Sport to be the first Android Wear device to expand and improve on the MOTOACTV concept, but unfortunately that did not happen this time around. Perhaps some of the 360 Sport shortfalls can be fixed with software updates, but others might be there to stay. For example, why equip the 360 Sport with only 4GB of RAM when the MOTOACTV, which was released in 2011, had 8 or 16 GB? Keep in mind that 4GB of RAM means that you'll only have a fraction of that to store music. This probably means you'll have to bring another player (likely your expensive smartphone) with you while exercising, thereby making the 360 Sport essentially unnecessary. In addition to that shortcoming, ANT+ support appears to be non-existing, which seems rather silly considering what the 360 Sport is supposed to do. In summary, the 360 Sport is very comfortable to wear, has a GPS, and the screen is visible in daylight. Unfortunately, the 360 Sport does not appear to differentiate itself enough from other devices in the market today to bring significant benefits to me. At the very least, I feel RAM should be expanded (8 GB at least), support for external ANT+ devices should be added, and the software should be customized for a variety of sports activities (think MOTOACTV). I guess I'll wait for the 2nd generation of the 360 Sport.

I so badly wanted this watch to work for me. GPS and Music in a standalone watch was all I wanted. Unfortunately, Android Wear isn't quite ready for the masses and the watch had too many shortcomings for me to keep it. The watch itself had much better battery life than what I was expecting after reading other reviews, but still pretty bad. I doubt one could run a Marathon with it. Run tracking was pretty good in general. Downloading music to the watch was extremely clunky and didn't work as stated, but once I figured out the correct pattern of taps, I could make it happen. The biggest reason why I am going to return this watch though is because it causes very extreme battery drain on my phone. The "eh, not bad, not great" watch performance coupled with the severe drain on the phone makes this product not nearly worth the $299 price tag. Looks like I'll be waiting another year or two for wearables to evolve...

Look I am not a runner. I don't ever intend to be a runner. This watch is for more than runners. I have had the Moto 360 (and 2nd gen) before and loved the way it looks and works, but in my job I cannot be worrying about it getting scratched up or scuffed up. So I would take it off when I had to do dirty work. This version of the Moto 360 is perfect (for me). I can keep it on all day without worrying about it and go straight to the gym or a walk with it. People forget to mention the display on this thing. The in direct sunlight effect that this has is amazing. It happens instantaneously! Yes the band is a lint magnet, and no you can't change the band. But it is comfortable all day long on my wrist and I don't have to worry about it getting ruined.

The features on this watch are amazing. The fact that you get GPS and a heart rate monitor is worth the large price tag. My only complaint is the wrist band that comes with it and is permanent

It seems bluetooth range on the watch is abysmal. In order to stream music, I have to have the watch within 12" of the headset. If I have my arms by my side or at any natural running position the connection stutters and cuts in/out. In a similar fashion, to sync music, the phone needs to be sitting right next to the phone or it will take DAYS to copy a 300MB playlist. I had high hopes for not taking my phone running with me... sadly, this watch doesn't do it at will be going back.

Watch is nice and snappy and add far as I know slated to get Android wear 2.0. the non changeable band is a huge dust collector though.

Really nice watch if your running android Software Not really great for iPhone

Folks, I found that a few bursts of static guard will solve the dust and lint problem on thes watches. I spray mine about every two weeks and the watch stays clean. Just a little user tip. I love the watch.

My first Moto 360 Sport failed within 2 weeks of purchase. The screen just suddenly went white one day. I didn't get it from Best Buy--my mistake because I'm sure they would have helped me out. Lesson learned. My 2nd replacement watch (from moto) had a bad touchscreen My 3rd replacement watch had the wrong software loaded on it! I'm waiting for a 4th watch now. My hopes aren't very high. This watch looks great, but I don't have a good feeling that it's going to last. Motorola's support is deplorable... :( If you purchase it from Best Buy... get the extended warranty. You'll need it. Also, This device fails the consumer reports water resistance test--and they tested TWO watches. My frist gen Moto 360 was awesome. Obviously Motorola cut corners with this device. I won't buy another Moto product.

Purchased this just two days ago, and the watch will not hold a charge for more that two hours, it miss counts the steps in moto body. it in my eyes is not worth the money, I'm returning it to the store today.

Watch broke after three months of light use. Motorola customer service is horrible. Three watches later and the watch still isn't right...
