Bought this phone for my 14 yr old son. Great phone for a teenager who is tough on phones. Rugged chassis and Motorola tough. Water resistant to. He loves it.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this smart phone. It's moderately priced and you get a lot for the money. The phone was unlocked and we didn't have any problem activating it on our AT&T network. The phone is a good choice for someone that wants a phone that will do almost everything , but doesn't need all the latest bells & whistles. My wife loves the phone.

I cannot stress how great of a phone this is. However, I spent weeks trying to resolve an issue with connectivity to the Sprint network. After much googling I found out that others with the Sprint network are having the same connectivity issues. The phone will appear work fine, until you try to access certain apps using cellular connection. They will either fail completely, or certain aspects of the app will not operate or function. After reading many reviews online, this is allegedly a IPv6 connectivity issue between the handset in the Sprint network. If I went into the phone settings and decrease the connection from LTE to 1X, all the apps would work fine. But would not work under any other connection type setting. I ultimately had to sell the phone, and get something different. I just could not get this thing to cooperate with Sprint. After multiple hours researching online, and multiple hours on the Motorola forms, and multiple hours in sprint stores and online with Sprint customer service, I gave up. This phone is in incredible piece of machinery. Especially for the money. But I cannot recommend this phone to Sprint network users.

Works good with TracFone. (Use the Verizon compatible cdma BYOP sim card). Beautiful phone in gray. Shame you have to hide it with a case because it is so slippery you will drop or scratch if you don't. Advice for TracFone customers BYOP. Much better than the ones they offer themselves.

Only issue so far is Bluetooth is not as smooth as IOS. Otherwise save big $s. This phone lives up to the CNET reviews.

Got this phone on short notice when I lost my prior. After 2 years, it's still going strong. It's not particularly great at any one feature, but it's generally good across the spectrum, especially for a $200 phone. And, like I said, still pretty decent after 2 years.

I needed an updated phone for work, but didn't want to fork over a ton of money for a Galaxy or iPhone. This phone is PERFECT - loads of memory, great camera, fast processing, lightweight, large display, unbelievably fast charging, and long battery life. Add the fact it's 1/4 the price of the others, and I'm never looking back.

After debating for several weeks what phone to buy on a short notice I purchased this. It is exactly what I needed has everything that my previous Galaxy had and it didn't cost even have the price. There could be some improvement but if you think about it the price definitely tells you what you're getting and I think it's the best value

I've had Moto phones for years. I've always found the best balance of price and performance in the "G" series phones. Its not bloated with apps you don't need. Almost pure android. I wouldn't recommend rooting this phone, theirs really no need. Stock OS is great. Upgrade to Oreo 8.1 for this phone is already rolling out!

Bought this unit to replace a broken iPhone. For a couple of hundred dollars, it’s an excellent phone. It has a thin rubber case and been dropped multiple times. It keeps on ticking. The screen is moderately easy to scratch though. What do you expect for $250?
