Not for use on carpet

I didn't realize when I purchased this that it was intended for hardwood floors. I almost wonder if the description has changed since I placed the order, but that sounds a little crazy, right? I probably just overlooked it.
The problem is, I have carpet. This mat will slide all over the carpet and move when you move your chair. The utter lack of carpet spikes makes it easy to move it back when it gets out of place, but that's hardly a benefit.
Also, the edges are not tapered to make it easy for rollers to roll up onto it. This means that once the rollers get off the mat, sometimes they'll catch on the mat trying to get the chair back on (if you do it while seated). Then, of course, mat-bending and profanity inevitably ensue.
Honestly, I was going to give it two stars until I realized I had kinda got the wrong product for my carpet. Don't buy this mat for use on a carpeted floor.

Not For Thick Carpet

I have super thick carpet, so i got this thinking it would help my office chair roll a little better. My chair doesnt struggle as much, but i wouldnt call it rolling. Furthermore, it moves around alot because it doesnt have the spikes on the bottom.

Great mat. I was concerned as I have a new office chair and new hardwood floors. This desk chair mat protects my floor perfectly. Definitely recommend letting you mat side in the room you plan on using over night to acclimate.

Great Flat Chair Mat

Came rolled up but laid down flat and has stayed flat to my tile floor. Makes it easier to roll chair without the grout lines stopping the wheels.

It keeps my carpet clean, though i should have gotten a harder, thicker mat. It keeps curling up and i have to readjust it often

Perfect mat set it out in the sun for about 15 minutes, so it was easy to flatten on on the floor since it came rolled up

Not worth it. Almost fell several times. Very slippery and even the carpet underneath doesn’t keep it from moving would not recommend

This mat does the job. It is not the best one out there, but it is nice and does not get caught on rolling chair. It gets dirty easily and doesnt always stay in one place on floor. I still love it and use it daily for work desk.

This is much cheaper than others I researched as far as other customer ratings.
I have a brand new vinyl plank floor, and this doesn't have any ridges or bumps and stays put where I want it. Does Carol slowly over it.
It came in a box that looked like it was shot out of a cannon but there was no damage

Great price and big enough. However, it doesn’t have the spikes on the bottom so it makes it a bit hard to keep in place over time.

Basic chair mat. Better for hard wood as it doesn’t have the teeth of others. Moves around a bit on carpet.
