I did a lot of research on coffee makers as the last one I had was absolute trash. I knew that price didn’t equate to quality. I found an article that listed this coffee maker as the best out of its price bracket. I took the dive and purchased this (curbside pick-up). I’ve owned this coffee maker for about a month and have used it daily. Pros: -Easy set up (be sure to follow the directions) -Solid build -Quick brew times -Pleasing aesthetic (looks better in person) -Easy to clean -Perfect temperature -Wakes me up in the morning with the sent of fresh coffee -Tells you how long the coffee has been sitting for Cons: -It builds a lot of condensation on the inside. This is probably just what coffee makers do and may not be a negative. It does have a nice design that keeps condensation from dripping outside of the machine, even when opened. -The top is hinged on the side, which makes it difficult to have facing forward. This would be the perfect design to place on the right-side edge of a counter.

If you are a left handed person (2 left handed people in my house) you will not like it because the top opens to the left and makes it awkward to pour the water in with your left hand!! Would have been much better if the top was switchable just like a fridge door. Other than that it's a simple and efficient coffee maker. Easy to operate without any complicated buttons or need to write a computer program! Just read the instruction manual for cleaning process. I like the filter in the water reservoir and even that is easy to install/replace. The unit design and colors are very nice. I discounted one star for the left handed issue. I took one star off for the left handed issue!

I ordered this coffee maker because I liked the looks of it . I wanted An attractive one on my countertop and prefer Mr. Coffee because of the automatic turn off feature . Only trouble is the automatic turn off takes four hours and I’m afraid of it running out of coffee before the turn off . So I have to beware that I don’t forget to turn it off before the coffee gets too low, Makes very good coffee but you have to keep buying the placement water filters for the filter water. Filters must be changed once a month and you only can buy four for $14. I think that’s very of expensive.. The pot only comes with one replacement filter good For only one month. I was surprised that it was made in China .

Great replacement for our old mrcoffee that died after a long life. Really like all the features such as 12 cup and programmable delay start. We like the lower profile and beautiful silver/matte gray finish which really complements our other appliances. Can't go wrong on the price either. We purchased at BB for $39 on sale. Very happy with purchase.

The Mr Coffee Easy Brew is a good little coffee maker that isn't trying to load a ton of features into the package. Instead, the focus is on delivering a consistent experience each time. That means making it easier to brew your coffee the exact same every time you use it, with the help of their color-coded system they call "Easy Brew". This machine isn't fancy, but it does look decent on the counter, though I have learned that is a very subjective opinion. The silver look is different. There are no metal parts on the outside, so all the silver is painted plastic. The look works for some and not so much for others. The plastic is a combination of thicker and thinner parts that all go together reasonably well enough that it avoids feeling cheap. But because of that it also doesn't deliver that same higher-end feeling that more expensive stainless coffee makers provide. The overall design is minimal, with an LCD front, top, and center, showing the current time, as well as future brew time if you select the "Brew Later" button to the left. To the right of the screen is the "Brew Now" button. 3 more buttons immediately beneath the screen set the hours, minutes, and clean functionality. The buttons have just enough feedback to feel okay to the touch, while avoiding the mushy, cheap feel. It brews coffee quickly and delivers a typical coffee maker beep when complete. There is no "Warmer Only" feature, but the warmer automatically kicks in when brewing. If you need to warm a sitting pot, you just hit “Brew Now” with no water added. If you remove the carafe it pauses the drip. Additionally, there is a 4-hour indicator below the hotplate that lights up to show you how long ago the coffee was brewed or turned back on. Interestingly, instead of a timer on the screen or below, it's a wide bar with static numbers that light as time goes by. It's an interesting design choice. The color coded "Easy Brew" system is what is really designed to set this apart from others in this range. It provides colored fill marks on the carafe, colored fill lines on the water reservoir, and a matching colored legend on the scoop to indicate how much to scoop based on the water level and how much coffee you want. Honestly, it seems a bit gimmicky at first, but it does take the guess work out of how much coffee to scoop. The colors are different enough to avoid confusion and they are easy to read, though the scoop font is a bit small for some eyes. Following this guided system, though, does deliver a consistent brew each time, and that is the whole point of this machine. I only have a couple issues with this coffee maker. The carafe glass feels a bit more fragile than my older coffee maker, and I worry I am going to break it on my granite. I find myself being overly cautious with it as a result. I also think they could have chosen a better color for the font on the brew buttons. The buttons are silver like the housing, and the font is a slightly different color grey. The print on the buttons disappears at many angles under the can lights in my kitchen. Once you're used to what button does what it's not a huge issue, but it's more than annoying when you must keep moving to different angles to read what the button says. Those two complaints aside, this machine works well for what it is designed for. It's nothing fancy, but the color-coded system does really help you make a consistent pot, which is the whole point. If you need a no-frills coffee maker that does the job the same each time you use it, give this a try.

I HAVE, yes, have to have my morning coffee. The Mr. Coffee 12-cup brews a good cup. In my case two before I head out the door and one for the road. I've been using my new coffee maker for two (2) weeks and learned to adjust the water to grounds ratio for my tastes. The unit comes marked with color coded symbols for quick referencing this ratio. What I really like: * Easy to install and remove filter cup under grey fill top cover. * Comes with a plastic scoop for measuring the fresh ground coffee. * Water purity is important for a great tasting cup of coffee. This unit has replaceable filter pods that absorb impurities and chlorine from your water just before it travels into the brew chamber. * The clock is on top with the control button. This is the perfect location so I don't bump or change the time when moving the base around the counter. * Large easy to read clock readout. * A simple push of the brew NOW button for on/off control. * Pressing the brew LATER button allows for setting the brew time or initiation the function. * Large glass carafe, easy to clean even with my large hands. * I LOVE the indicator LEDs that are visible around the makers's base. It starts out lighting up the word "FRESH", then indicates the time the unit has been sitting on, .5 hours, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, etc., so you always know how long the POT has been COOKING. Awesome! I wasn't sure the finished coffee was warm enough. I found that though I can remove the carafe and pour myself a cup while still brewing, that temperature didn't seem as hot as my previous machine. I found and proved with a candy thermometer that the finished temperature in the pot was 150 to 155 degrees., after letting the brew complete its cycle of six (6) cups. That for me is the perfect temperature ( I add milk from the fridge).

This coffee maker is simple and straight forward. It is compact and it is not as tall as other coffee makers. It is super easy to setup and program. The clock was a breeze to program. The timer brew was easy also. It comes with a measuring cup for ease of use. Color is nice. Pot is easy to clean. Comes with mini carbon filter to enhance taste and take out impurities. Taste is decent. I am not a coffee snot so an average cup of Joe for me is good enough and this does it. I would recommend this if you are looking for simple a easy to use coffee maker.

Mr. Coffee Easy Measure: 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker (BVMC-RF300). This may be the most handsome version of the classic Mr. Coffee yet. And, everything else matches the looks. These are the Mr. Coffee features and how well they worked for us: 2-step Advanced Water Filtration System (requires replacement cartridges): A filter was provided in the box and all we had to do was unwrap it and drop into holder at the bottom of the water reservoir. It’s not a complicated process. A slot helps align it. There is a reminder if you enter the startup month so you know you’re serving a healthy brew.. Easy-to-use color coded measuring system: The scoop is color coded as is the water marker on the side of the machine. There’s no guessing about the coffee to water ratio. Be sure to purchase either the large 8-12 replaceable filters or a permanent “gold” filter on your way home. Programmable LED display: The clock sets up easily. Brew Now and Brew Later options for coffee use the same LED display. Grab-a-Cup provides a way to interrupt the coffee brewing to let you drink a cup before the complete brewing process finishes. Otherwise, brewing that entire 12 cup carafe will take about 10 minutes. Illuminated 4-Hour Freshness Indicator tells you how long it’s been since the coffee was brewed. If you press the Brew-Now button it knocks off the timer (which is now not applicable.) The cord can be unplugged and tucked into the back of the machine. Helps keeps the counter neat. SUMMARY: The great directions help get everything setup in minutes and I was quickly making coffee. This Mr. Coffee looks like it will be as reliable as others I’ve owned. It’s certainly one of the easiest I’ve ever used. It’s also easy to recommend. This version of the Mr. Coffee machine also looks nice on your counter or the office in its fancy silver finish.

    Perfect Work Brewer!

We had been looking for a coffee maker for work, and this fit the bill perfectly. It has a relatively small footprint which is great, and it is easy enough so that anyone who’s never made coffee before can figure it out. So first the build seems pretty durable, mostly of plastic, and metal. Super simple interface so easy to use. On the front, bottom part of the brewer there is a dark strip that tells you how long it’s been since you have brewed that pot of coffee. The easy measure scoop makes it really easy for anyone unfamiliar with making coffee, to make a good consistent cup. My coworkers and I have been really enjoying this coffee maker and it would be an easy recommendation.

    Efficient coffee maker

This coffee maker is very efficient! Coffee plays a very important part of my family’s everyday life. Thus, having a reliable and operative coffee maker is a must in our household. This coffee maker, however, goes above and beyond the basics with its various options, which enhance the coffee-making process. The machine has an advanced water filtration system that works to produce better-tasting coffee by reducing impurities in the water. Furthermore, it has a 4 hours freshness indicator that allows you to know how fresh the coffee is by tallying the hours it has been sitting. The machine has a “brew now and brew later” option which I am very eager about since my previous coffee maker does not have this feature. With this option, I can program the coffee maker to brew the coffee for whenever I want it ready. The Grab-a-cup auto pause feature is a feature that helps keep the coffee maker and the area around it clean while pouring each cup of coffee. The automatic clean cycle makes the cleaning process labor-saving and simpler. In addition, it’s metallic silver color and programmable led display give this coffee maker a modern look that easily fit my home. The color-coded measuring system is easy to understand and helps me measure the right amount of coffee and water to pour every time. Moreover, this coffee maker holds twelve cups, sufficient for large groups of coffee-lovers. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product!

I really like this coffee maker. It seems to be one of the few I have had over the years where the machine seems to have been designed to work around people's needs and not making people have to work to its needs and quirks. For one, I appreciate how all the important parts of this coffee maker are dishwasher safe. I like just being able to put the filter basket, carafe, and lid in the dishwasher when they start to get gross and not have to worry about it further than that. Another thing I like is how they made the included scoop color coded and matched to the carafe for measuring how many scoops is needed for a given amount of cups of coffee. I vacillate between using my Keurig for personal use and this coffee maker for guests and days where I need more java-juice and this maker makes it easy. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee maker. 5 stars for sure!

Great looking coffee maker. It's simple and not complicated at all. You can brew coffee right away, or program it to do it for you in the morning for example. It will also keep coffee warm. I like the big LCD display with the time. The maker comes with a special filter pod for chlorine (helps removing it, thus having better tasting coffee), however you must change it monthly. Only con is, it does not come with any sort of filter media for the carafe (either a permanent metal mesh or paper ones), so you must either buy the optional permanent one or get paper filters from the store (which I think are better in my opinion, and you don't have to wash them, just use and dispose). The carafe itself is huge and you can get 12 cups out of this maker, it also comes with a nice measuring spoon for your ground coffee. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, programmable, good looking and good quality coffee maker! Remember to clean it thoroughly before 1st use and then make a run with just water (no coffee), so any plastic/manufacturing flavor goes away! (should be done with any coffee maker at first).

    It's An Average Coffee Pot

When you're looking for a coffee maker, there are a few things to look for. How many cups will it make. What kind of filter does it take. And How much does it cost. That last one really depends on the features. Most coffee makers have a gimmick. Something to make you say " Yea. that's the one I want to spend a little extra on. Does it make espresso? Does make K-cups? Does it ground coffee beans? That's when they should going upwards of $50+ at the retailer. This is a very adequate coffee maker and it will go great in a break room, small office, apartment or even a dorm room. It's a coffee maker in it's most basic form. What the average coffee maker should be. In my opinion, it's just not worth the $50 price tag. Do I recommend it? Sure. It makes a good cup of coffee, but I can't justify the price tag. As usual, here's a link to my full online review, plus a link to my unboxing on You Tube( I had fun making it.) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jd29Dn5pZuK0G-btZHKSRL4NvZQBb18JWCSr-cPXH3w/edit?usp=sharing

This coffee pot looks great on the counter. It is more plastic than metal, which the pictures don't show very well, but doesn't look or feel cheap. It makes good coffee and has simple, easy programming in a clean, compact design. The only negative to this coffee maker is that the fill line on the reservoir only allows 11 cups of water for a 12 cup coffee maker. It's an open hole in the back, so there's no way to make a "full" pot of coffee (and if you try, you'll end up with a puddle on the counter).

This is a very nice looking coffee maker. I love that it looks like stainless steel without the extra care. It comes with the mini measuring cup for grounds and has the markings for the amount of cups of water on the decanter handle and on back right side of the coffee maker. It brews quickly and makes a nice cup of coffee. The only issue is finding the water filters and at a reasonable price.

I purchased this coffee maker about 8 months ago and it died last month. It just stopped pulling water out of nowhere!! I was so disappointed!! My previous mr coffee was 20 years old and I thought it time to upgrade even though it was still working and I’m sorry I did. But I Love the look and ease of this coffee maker so much that I ordered a second one, hoping it was just a lemon! Fingers crossed! If it happens again, I’m moving on to a different brand.
