After having this for a few weeks it is so worth it. It keeps up with the animal hair by having it run every night. The only down side is that it gets stuck some times and you have to fix it but it will send you notfications if it is stuck.

I was little skeptical as to whether this is worth it or not. However my wife and I have a 11 month old Cane Corso that kept me sweeping nightly. I would have to say I saw a tremendous difference in the amount of hair we have on our hard surfaces and help tremendously on the weekends when we are doing our major cleaning. Only thing I can say is be conscious of how long you set the cleaning cycle because it sometimes doesn't leave enough juice to return to the base once it's been cleaning for over 3 hrs.

I love this vacuum!! I use it daily as we have three dogs and four cats of our own and three foster cats as well. It is so easy to use and safe for the animals. My house had never been cleaner.

I love my clean buddy, Neato. I have wood flooring and he keeps them nice and clean. I like the fact I can control it from my phone and it cleans in the corners nicely.

Works like its supposed to. Easy set up and does a great job cleaning my carpets and tile flooring!!! Only thing it doesn't do that i would want it to is pick up all my kids toys!!!

I have not regretted this purchase. I've owned this vacuum for 2 years, and it does a great job. I have enjoyed the convience of owning this product. There are YouTube videos to demonstrate how to maintain your vacuum. I will warn prospective buyers that I've had to replace the roller brush once a year, but at $30 it's worth the convenience.

Easy to setup, Cleans my apartment great. Was easy to take apart when brush had a issue. Gently around furniture Does not like rearranged furniture

In order to use the full Wi-Fi connected applications, I feel that the company gathers and monitors far too much personal information and then can sell that information to 3rd parties.

PROS The squared side design is great to get into corners. It picks up any little piece of anything. Able to remotely initiate cleaning and program schedules. CONS Gets Stuck very easily. When in error mode, at times very hard to continue cleaning. Connectivity issues- can easily get disconnect. To reconnect is a pain.

My only complaint is that it loses internet connection all the time. It's not so easy to get it reconnected. I use to have the Neato that had the buttons on the machine. I miss that.

Buying this robot is the most intelligent purchase I had ever made. I schedule it for every night and my apt just appear clean every morning. I heard it for the first couple of night when it hitted my room door. Now it learned the area and doesnt hit the door anymore. It wasnt a big sound but I have light sleep. After almost 4 months I think I have to replace the side brush band. Everything else is working good.

I had the D80 and finally upgraded to this "connected" robot. cleans very weak. not so loud. cleans under the sofa and every corner in the house. my only issue is that it does not have a screen to let you know why it stops working... you have to guess if it's battery, full tray, something stuck in brush..etc. you do get a message to the phone but usually there's a 5 minute delay after it stops.

Love how it cleans up around the house. That I can have Alexa start it and stop it.

My parents own a robot from the other famous brand and I just bounces around every time it hits an object. I have a little OCD and just watching that robot clean stresses me out. I did some research since my dogs bring grass from out side and since my wife and I work, we don't have time to sweep every day. This robot maps out your house and cleans in a organized pattern. It just seems like the robot it self has OCD. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cleaning robot. My parents ended up buying the same one for their house.

I have researched alot and after bestbuy had a sale i knew i had to get it! very easy to set up and does a great job!

The robot really clean my carpet and wood floors. Love the technology where it show mapping of where it cleaned around the house.

I've had my D5 for just over a year so I'm now ready to give my review. After buying a roomba and hating it, I searched for a robot vac that cleaned floors in a logical manner. I wound up purchasing the Neato D5. I am very happy when the botvac works correctly, about 70% of the time. It cleans in a logical pattern and even maps the entire area. It even shows you the map (in the app) once it completes a cleaning cycle. Everything is perfect. Until you run into the 30% of the time where it loses its mind. During that time you might as well just turn it off and return it to its base and start the cleaning cycle completely over. Some examples of the crazy things it will do are trying to get back to the base through a solid wall (when it thinks the base is in the backyard for some reason), spinning in circles for no apparent reason and forgetting to clean an entire room. After you restart the cleaning cycle it usually performs normally. Neato's support is very responsive and usually helpful but they cannot figure this one out. They just say to clean the sensors. Anyway, overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend the D5 despite the problems I've had. As a side note, if you have carpet I highly recommend replacing the stock "combo" brush with the accessory "blade" brush. It gets far fewer tangles and seems to do the job equally well.

The unit will start off and attempt to do the 15 x 15 foot area that it always starts with by running the perimeter. Once that is done it will then fairly logically complete that square area back and forth until completed. It will then move on to another area and begin it's 15 x 15 area again. I also have a Samsung Powerbot and it is absolutely crazy as to how it maps out an area, no rhyme or reason. The Neato is far better in mapping out the room. The biggest problem is that it can get stuck. It will follow the perimeter of the room OK, but if it goes under the table, say through the opening under a chair, it will get under the table and just start banging around because it can't figure how to get out. It will do this basically until you move a chair or move it. It gets very frustrated and on several occasions even goes into a spasm just jerking back and forth! It would seem that after a few try's at escape it would shutdown, but not. For this reason, I would never run this thing unattended. Seems to pick up well, at least there is dirt in the cup!

I bought the Neato D5 after reading a boatload of reviews on all the various robot vacs.available. This thing... (nicknamed R2D2) has surpassed all my expectations for it now that Neato has added mapping to the app as well. It uses its laser to map out the rooms that it is going to sweep then does it in an organized fashion, leaving no area unswept. It handles all types of flooring and carpeting, even carpeting that was a nightmare for other vacuums. We love it and would buy another if this one dies.
